the white is probably just primer for touching up where they had to scuff it during instalation... I noticed a few marks towards the top of the non-inverting loop actually... they just want tobe sure it looks nice and clean.

Found white spots all over the supports and some of the track in this area. Really, really weird. Two people said they were putting "graphics" in those spots, but I'm not really sure why they would or of what they would put there.

No, that's not true. What I've heard from my inside source is that the ride has gotten Chicken Pox since Universal didn't properly vaccinate it. Its going to be delayed for another month so it can recover. This is so typical of Universal. I mean come on, just spend the money for vaccines already.

Orlando Attractions has posted a animated video POV of the ride and also has some information about the ride. The coolest thing is the seats and the way they will load the cars. The cars will be loaded useing a people-mover-style conveyer belt to get people to their vehicles so that riders and vehicles never come to a complete stop. This will allow vehicles to leave the station every 23 seconds. What this means is the line for the ride should move at a good rate. Here is a link to their article.

Great to hear about the on-board lighting...always wanted to see that in person since Hollywood Dream!

The article was over-excited though...It's not the ONLY coaster with a continuous moving Load...Primeval Whirl features that too.
:hammer:

Yeah, but this will also feature a moving floor, like HM or Peter Pan.

So I was checkin' out the official site, and notice that (Japanese-style) they are anthropomorphizing the Coaster with awesome young Animated charcters -I'm curious to see where they are going with this.

I like Aki and Raven...They're definitely going for a specific graphic style, but pulled back to not become stereotypical.

And is it just me or is Rodriguez a characterization of Robert Rodriguez?

so, i don't want to argue...

Primeval whirl continuous loads without stopping, true.

Primeval whirl continuous loads with a moving floor matching the speed of the car like HM or Peter Pan, false.

HRRR will do the 2nd, unlike PW.

Heres the best I can find: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BYUNAHg8jfA

All the way to the end at unload... stationary floor.

Yep, Whirl does not have a belt, that's true.

Didn't they pull something off the ride (the lift hill) or something. I thought I saw a blurb on the Sentinel website or something.

Track not lining up was incorrect. Trains could complete the circuit. it seems Uni and the manufacturer had different ideas for evac procedure on the lift and the lift track was removed to make the changes.

The track was removed to install anti-roll back devices.

Apparently the initial safety design was a dual chain whereby if one broke the other would still work. Apparently it didn't work as planned so they scrapped that idea and had to redesign the lift to allow for installation of anti-rollback devices.

I guess Uni still is sticking with the late spring/early summer opening? I haven't seen any updates on that and, well, I will be there late this month. :D

Either then, or I'll have to wait for October.

This question is for other big people here. I was just wondering what the maximum waist size is. I can fit into the clam shell style restraints on rides like nitro up at six flags great adventure but need the special big seat on rides like hulk and dueling dragons. I'm 6'3'' 280 lbs. For the over the shoulder restraints it isn't so much as my gut getting in the way but that my shoulders are taller than the pivot points and they cant clamp down all the way. So am I ok for this coaster or am I out of luck?
