So I will say this if there is already an August roll call in progress , I appologize, direct me there! I did search an came up empty!

So I am starting this one! We're all booked , staying at our Home DVC resort SSR!!! Going with my Babe , two girls , Nephew and wife. Our Nephew has'nt been back to Disney since 2006 so there's lots of new stuff for him and his wife to see !
We'll be there the 20th -27th.
I have'nt been to disney in August since 2000 , we've always done September , but with our Oldest in middle school, way to much work for her to play make up!
But thats ok, we're still getting our fix!
Anyone else hop on August Roll call!!


And yes I'll take the Heat and humidity any day over crowds!!

58 days, and I am really getting excited now. I can't believe we've counted down since 367...I kept telling my family that once we hit Memorial Day it would fly by. I'm with everyone else - I hate to wish summer away, but...that's just what I'm doing :lol:

I'll enjoy the nice weather, but with stressful times at work, I'll do something like this:

"58 days from this exact moment, I will be enjoying dinner at Kouzzina"

45 days for me...which is bittersweet because while I'll be at the World :sohappy: I'm also turning 27 that day :cry:

Nothing starves off the creeping 3 0 like continuing to be young at heart at DISNEY! :hammer:

Among the milestones, we'll also have first time at POFQ, first time eating at Cali Grill and DBF's first time EVER at DHS and DAK!! Woooo woooo!!

64 Days until my gf and I are in the WORLD! So exciting. I've just recently found this site and it is AWESOME!! This will be my 7th time there and my gf's 2nd. Her first was with me and my parents last year but this time it will be just the two of us. And there is a reason behind that ;) (no not being dirty, just got a special surprise for her planned).

32 more days here!! We have a busy weekend/week coming up so we will be under 30 in no time!!

We are going with someone who it is her first time to WDW, Dh and I are having our first alone time in WDW ever! (Mom is taking the kids for a night!) We are eating at the California Grill for the first time and Ohana! And it will be my sons first time to the Animal Kingdom and a first for my family at T-Rex!!

So much to look forward too! Oh and how can I forget! Celebrating my daughters 7th bday while we are there too. A little BBB salon for her and dinner with Cinderella! :sohappy:

It is getting very real now! 50 days for me!

I've starting my packing list and my "purchase" list, so I don't forget to buy things ahead of time we need. You know, like ponchos and filter water bottles etc. It's good to have something to do again (what a boring period between ADR's and pre-packing lol) and get me even more excited about the trip!

Hey everyone. My dh, myself, my mom and dad are taking my ds for hisnfirst trip august 6-13. He will be 8 months old when we go!! And I'm starting to freak out!! Has anyone traveled before with an infant in august??? I need help!!!

With my kids the youngest I took them was 15 months and that was in January!! But I was there with my cousin in Augustbefore and her son was 6 months. He did awesome. Probably the easiest age to take them! Just get out of the heat as much as possible, indoor lines, gift shops, and table service lunches were great ways to cool down. We would get to the park early and leave after lunch to cool down at the pool and come back for dinner and the night. But he slept fine in the stroller and was over all very happy! Make sure to bring a wipe-pad to put down on changing tables or just change in the stroller!

We are down to 38 days!!! It is right around the corner. We still have plenty planned over the next few weeks that will make the time go fast!! I check the mail everyday now in hope I will be able to do a happy dance.....Getting the DME tags and luggage tags make the trip seem that much more real!!! I contacted Disney Crusie and they will mailing all their info to my work address sot he DD dont find it in the mail and spoil the surprise!!! :sohappy:
