August 2011 Roll Calls

So I will say this if there is already an August roll call in progress , I appologize, direct me there! I did search an came up empty!

So I am starting this one! We're all booked , staying at our Home DVC resort SSR!!! Going with my Babe , two girls , Nephew and wife. Our Nephew has'nt been back to Disney since 2006 so there's lots of new stuff for him and his wife to see !
We'll be there the 20th -27th.
I have'nt been to disney in August since 2000 , we've always done September , but with our Oldest in middle school, way to much work for her to play make up!
But thats ok, we're still getting our fix!
Anyone else hop on August Roll call!!


And yes I'll take the Heat and humidity any day over crowds!!

75 days!!! Can I start packing now?! I have clothes that I bought for the kids for summer and put them at the top of their closest because they are Disney clothes!!

Family headed to POR 8/21-8/29. Did July with just the kids and wife last time, so we are prepared for the heat. Grandparents going this time, so maybe not. 96 days, too long, but don't want to wish away the rest of the spring and the whole summer.

My friend and I are checking in on August 19th at Coronado Springs. He is flying back to Indiana on the 21st. Short trip for him, but he is driving down with me because I move in on the 22nd to start my CP. I do not know who is more excited me or him. This is his first stay on Disney property ever!

Now that everything is booked and paid off it's an eventless waiting game
It seems like a long ways away.. but my bf said it's less than 3 months which makes it seem MUCH better.

My girl and I are going to be there August 24th - 30th at All Star Sports. Its been 3 years since we've last been there. I am actually going to be proposing to her there! Can't wait!

I have been on the August Roll Call a couple times before, but tomorrow will be 79 days!!!! Wilderness Lodge 8/20-8/28! I feel the same as some previous posters- hate to wish the summer away...BUT how can you not be beyond excited for Disney??? All my ADR are made for my Free Dining! Now for the fun of planning the day to day activities over the next 79 days! I am a teacher and have the whole summer to do this! I sometimes don't know if the actual trip or the planning is more fun!!! OK the actual trip!!!

So who else will be at the Wilderness Lodge? My first time at the Lodge, my 16th time at the World!!!

In exactly 2 months I will be heading to BLT! So excited

Seems like just yesterday we were there during Christmas. Time flew by!

Also, we just booked Kidani Village for the last 3 days, woohoo!

I am trying not to get to ahead of my self. only 58 more days and i will try to wait till I hit the 30 day mark before I start. We have a few busy weeks ahead so that should carry me thought!!!

60 more days!!!! I too try not to rush the summer here in RI but , I just can't wait! We're going with my nephew and wife who have'nt been since 06, so we're(and our girls) can't wait! I was at Target today looking at Mickey shirts and saying to myself "no you will not pay full price, its not like you need it today anyway"! I will be going back to get it though!
