The Saints stay alive....

Great win last night!

I saw them talk about how with the Saints win last night that they are now one game behind the Vikings (the Vikings have the 6th and last playoff seed so far) and tied with the Lions, Redkins and Cardinals and that the Saints right now would win the tie-breakers over the Lions,Redkins and Cardinals since they have a better Conferance record than all those teams. The wildcard race in the NFC is going to be interesting

Now the Giants are 9-4 and I think with just one more win they will clinch a wildcard spot. The Vikings will be in a race to stay ahead of 4 others teams they could take them out of the playoffs and also trying to catch up with the Giants to get a higher playoff seed then them. This should be interesting

Tom Brady is 5 TD's away from breaking Peyton Manning's record.
Randy Moss is 5 TD's away from breaking Jerry Rice's record.

Who gets the ball if they both break the record on the same touchdown? :lookaroun

Tom Brady and Randy Moss are both great players, but I also think a lot of credit should be given to New England's offensive line. I remember years ago when the Cowboys and the 49ers were big rivals. It was like whoever wins the NFC championship when the Cowboys and 49ers met in that game would go on win the Super Bowl hands down. The Cowboys and the 49ers were the 2 best teams in the NFL and the 49ers made great rivals and I always wanted any team to beat the 49ers :p

Anyways I always thought the Cowboys offensive line was a big key to what made them such a great team back when they won Super Bowls 27,28 and 30 :king: I also think that today New England's offensive line in a big key to why they are such a great team today. I think I would vote for one of the players on New England's offensive line for MVP of the year. I still think Tom Brady is good though.

Sports radio interviewed Brady yesterday about the records...and his amazing season...

He said, it's not just him and he hates when his name is the only one brought up.

It starts with the offensive line to give him time...then the receivers have to make the plays...and the defense has to give him the time to be on the field and the kickers have to help the defense by positioning the ball deep in order to make the defense's job easier.

There is no "ME" in Brady.

(But there is "ME" in "AwesoME" :lookaroun )

EDIT: I think I have a mancrush on Tom Brady  (Seriously, I'd love to just have a day to pick his brain and hear him tell stories about the accomplishments he's had and the things that frustrate him on the field)

Aaron Smith is out for the season. He tore a bicep.

Funny how karma comes back to bite you. He was "guaranteeing" a win against New England on Sunday...and during warmups...he was taunting Tom Brady (which, apparently isn't allowed)...and that's why Brady talked smack after the first touchdown.

So, not only did his "guarantee" not work...and his taunting of Brady not work...but now he's out for the season because of an injury.

If that doesn't scream Karma...nothing does.

That's a given. I can smell your crush on him all the way down here. Bri, it's okay to love Brady, just don't looooooooove Brady. ;)

Just remember, you owe me our little Brian Thomas Brady Peyton Elijah Bill Dungee...

I agree. A great offensive line turns an average quarterback into a great quarterback....just look at Brett Favre....:lookaroun

Wasn't the guy for the Patriots filming on the sideline, shooting video across the field?

Yes, he was on the sideline...but the point is...they were filming calls. The Patriots just did it from a wrong location.

So, in essence...people taking away the credibility of the Patriots because they knew the calls means nothing...because apparently it's not illegal to record the calls...just recording the calls from the sideline.

Sounds about as simple and straightforward as the tuck rule. :lookaroun

(That's a shot at the NFL's bizarre overly complicated rules, not the Pats BTW.)

Even being a New England fan...I hate the Tuck Rule. such a cop out. If you drop the ball...you drop the ball. Who the heck cares if you're in the middle of a throw...or changing your mind on a throw?

Wrong Smith. Anthony "I guarantee Brady and Moss will make me look like an idiot" Smith is the Steeler that opened mouth and inserted Touch Downs.

Mangini insists that they were filming the game from each end zone and not signals.
Had the Pats saved a seat in the front row and done the same thing, no violation. Because they were on the sideline it was. Personally, I don't mind the Jets messing with us. Every time they do the Pats turn it into a positive. Moe Lewis hits Bledsoe; enter Tom Brady.
Ratgini squeals; Pats get ed and are undefeated. Think Bill will give Eric an internship with the Pats when the Jets fire him?

I once new a guy with a wooden leg named Smith.

What was the name of his other leg? :lookaroun
