I agree. If he or his staff are still coaching with a chip on their shoulders, it's one they put there and choose to keep there.
Exactly. On the other hand, there are players, especially the rookies or free agents that signed on this season, that might have known nothing about the tapes being used. The people that are lumping all of them into the "cheaters" group are not being given a fair deal. Those guys should play with a chip on their shoulders. One of the things that really ticked me off when I went to the Bills/Pats game was when a group of Bills fans that weren't even sitting in our section came down before the game and started giving my son a hard time about being a Patriots fan. He's 8 years old for crying out loud. "Hey, the Patriots are cheaters, they're not a good role model for you. You shouldn't be rooting for them." The worse one was the guy behind us in line at one point for the restrooms. He was swearing at the Pats fans and telling them that they don't have the proper equipment to be using the men's room and to all go to the women's room. I told him to watch his mouth because my son wasn't the only kid present. He almost apologized, then realized I was wearing a Patriots jacket and started in on me. He was drunk, which was one of the only reasons I didn't deck him where he stood. If I had the fan hotline number with me, though, I would have been able to have him removed from the stadium for the way he was acting. They have a really good policy about that sort of thing.
