I agree. A great offensive line turns an average quarterback into a great quarterback....just look at Brett Favre....:lookaroun

Yes, I think the offensive line is a big key to how well the offense will be. So I always think it's important for teams to get a good offensive line. Get a great offensive line so you can keep yout quarterback protected and give him time to make great plays. If you stop and think about it this can also help your defense out, because if your offense can stay on the field for a long time, even if they don't score tons of points, this can keep the other team's/teams offense of the field and make it harder for them to score points.

Yes, I was...and let me add, he doesnt know when to retire. He's one of those that Im affraid lives for the game so much he will have a difficult time adjusting after retirement.
At 38 years of age, if I was having a season like he is having this year, I wouldn't know when to retire either. Why should he if he is producing like he is?

Definitely. It's not like he's going out there and getting killed and throwing 6 INTs a game. He's scoring and leading successful drives. His team is going to the playoffs. I see no reason to think he'll retire at the end of this season either.

I think Robert Kraft should call Marino and ask him if he wants to be a 3rd stringer...so he'll have a good shot of finally getting a ring.

Congrats to the Buccaneers for their first ever return TD and clinching their Division!

I've been waiting on this since I lived in St. Pete and was taken to Bucs games every season since I was born. Even WAY back when they had the orange jersey's and the Pirate with the knife in his mouth. :sohappy:

I had to brave driving in the snow today just so I could go watch the Pats/Jets game. The defense and special teams for both sides did a great job. If it weren't for a TD being called back on a challenge the Jets would have had chance to tie. If it hadn't been called back and they hadn't been stupid in the first quarter and actually taken the FG instead of going for it on 4th and 2 just because the Pats had done so on their drive, then they would have been tied at that point. The Pats may have won, but they got a few lucky breaks and a few couple of bad decisions on the part of the Jets.

That being said... I'll take the win! 14-0!!!!

You went to the game and drove in that weather? You are a brave soul and deserved to see that win! :D

If that game hadn't been played in such awful weather conditions, I think it would have been the game to watch of the season. Both teams had so much to prove and such a strong determination to beat the other. It would have been awesome!

Incredible...Brady has the worst game of the season and they still win by 10. Gotta love this team...when one aspect isn't clicking...the others do.

No, I live in Buffalo. I went out someplace I could watch the game, but the snow on the way back was worse and you could only see maybe a quarter mile in front of you. Only Pats game I've seen this year was actually the one in Buffalo where they crushed the hapless Bills. But you're right, if the weather had cooperated, it would have been a far better game. Still, it certainly was fun to watch. The really crazy game to watch today was the Bills/Browns game. The snow and wind was so bad, you could hardly see the players at times.
