Was it live, or was it memorex? Was it her, or was it computer generated? If one of the contestants sang with that much modulation, the judges would boot them right off. I felt the same way about Jamie Fox last week. Having some synthesizer alter your sound is NOT singing!

Allison's post-boot performance was stellar. Probably her best of the season.
As for the filler ... er, I mean performances tonight:
The group sing was tolerable only for Slash's guitar work.
Gwen still can't sing, but she's still cool.
Paula's allegedly off the pills now, and the producers actually trusted her enough to let her perform on the show. Not enough to let her sing live, of course. They're not crazy.
Daughtry can still sing, and the song sounded pretty good.

I thought the same...
At this point, all are talented, but you have very different styles. Kris will probably be next. Not to sound sexist, but my guess is that the majority of voters are female, and when it came down to it, the cute guys were voted for rather than the girl.
I am also confident that we will see/hear from Alison again.

I was sad to see Allison go
...I think she will do well in the music industry though.
Paula's performance was lip synched...I thought it was O.K. (the dancing was better than the song).
No Doubt didn't sound good to me.
I love Daughtry...it just goes to show you that you can be voted off & still become very successful.

I was very, very disappointed to see Allison go. Kris should be gone, not her. I really thought the top 3 would be Allison, Danny, and Adam, with Allison and Adam the 2 finalists. I can't stand Adam, but DW seems to like him for whatever reason. So, now I'll be pulling for Danny.
What a shame to see Allison go. I really liked her, and wish her a very successful career.

I can honestly say I totally disagree with the judges regarding Adam tonight! I think U2 and Aerosmith are too big for him. He started off both songs reasonably well and within a few bars was screeching and destroyed both songs. It was almost impossible to listen to.
Kris did fairly well his first song and exceptionally well his second.
Danny stole the night! Both songs were tour-de-force performances.
Despite the judges' unfounded coronation, I sincerely hope America gets it right and sends Adam home.

I don't think Adam will go home. Kris is my pick for elimination this week. I do agree that Danny did the best though. My pick is for Adam overall.

Kris had the best night overall. His first song was good, and his second was outstanding. Danny's first song was awful, but his second was outstanding. I agree with MontyMon above that Adam was overly ambitious. He seemed to be trying too hard with both songs and messed with the melodies so much that the songs were mere props for his extravagance.
As the season has progressed, I've been the most impressed with Kris. At the start, I thought he was just a pretty boy, but he's an extremely talented guy.
The judges and their fawning over Adam was pathetic.

Hmm ok, so I only watched parts, but the entire show.
Saw Kris's acoustic performance and I was impressed.
Adam is definitely obnoxious with all the screeching and IMO like I've mentioned before no one should touch Aerosmith, although I believe he is the best overall and will probably win.
Missed all of Danny's performances. Oops!
Can't wait to see tomorrow's elimination!

Kris impressed me the most, especially with his second song. Danny was a very close second. I didn't care for either of Adam's performances, and thought he was really "pitchy" on the second song.
