They really have to add another word in Monster's Inc Laugh Factory somewhere to make us Acronym & Abbreviation obsessed types feel less dirty typing it lol.

Two updates from other threads:

1-Space Mountain may be getting some form of interactivity in the queue area

2-The Little Mermaid attraction could possibly maybe get announced in October with the annual press release.

I'm fine with it as long as it's fun/innovative. If we just get Soarin's queue 2.0, I'll be disappointed.

I just don't see why everything has to be interactive. Its fine for a couple of things like Turtle Talk, but its starting to become too much and if its done too much then its novelty will wear off quickly.

Why must Disney have to give some sort of "interactive" thing for everything they do now days? :brick:

They're trying to stay relevant and exciting to the X-Box 360 generation -- something to make them say 'cool' instead of 'lame'.

The success of such a strategy? We'll see.

Am I the only one who is less than thrilled...

Ahem. Am I the only one who is less than thrilled by the perspective of Adventureland being reduced to a mere, more or less, "Pirates of the Carribean-Land"? I am actually nothing less than shocked by those plans as Adventureland was and is my favourite MK-land and although I liked the PotC-Movies (not all of them the same however) and LOVE the attraction I definitely don't appreciate that they want to theme the ENTIRE land with just one movie-franchise. Adventureland is more than just one big movie-themed area, it is a tribute to the spirit of adventure and exploration, is supposed to give you the feeling of being in an outpost of civilisation and it always did perform this task brillantly. Although it of course lost some of its charme with these stupid carpets of aladdin which made the area feel overcrowded and never really blended in with the rest of the theming. I would appreciate its removal and as I LOATH the "new management" of the Tiki-room I want it redone too, to reestablish the old real tiki-style of course, not to include that terrible, unsympathetic Stitch!
But to replace the SF-Treehouse with a pirate ship is a HUGE mistake as it would change the entire character and appearance of the land, it would not be Adventureland any more but the already mentioned "Pirateland". And we have the Carribean Plaza for that already! I agree that the Treehouse is to many people a quite boring, very simple walk-through-attraction based on a movie that never was a real classic and is mostly unknown today, but I don't talk about the attraction but about the setting its silhouette established for Adventureland. If they want to add a pirate ship like in DLP, an Adventureland FAR inferior to MK, then expand the area. But don't "piratize" the entire land! Adventure means and is more than just some pirates in the Carribeans! And Adventureland is more areas of the world than just the Carribean Sea! Why don't they add a true and famous E-Ticket like Indiana Jones Adventure or even better, why don't they finally add the Fire Mountain Rollercoaster? Do something REAL new and not just add more PotC-stuff. Most of the best E-Tickets are (or were) not even based on movies, as the attraction came first and DECADES later the movies. If they make Adventureland PoTC-Land then they don't only change it's character beyond recognition but they actually kill the spirit of this land and once again Walt rotates in his grave..

This thread should have been called MK all the time has Disney given up on TL. I think that they show no sign other than the SM refurb of fixing TL at all!

The one thing that I loved about DL was there was no Stich anywhere in the parks, besides meeting the character himself.
