All Magic Kingdom, All the Time (aka Has Disney given up on Space Mountain?)

I really hope that Stitch doesn't come to the Tiki Room. I really hate when Disney loves to place characters in all of these classic attractions and try and pass it off as a show. Videos from the Stitch show show just that.

The only person with real influence may be Rohde. But even that may have been diminished by all the whining about Everest by the on-line community. .
I was not aware there were whiners about Everest on the online community.:lookaroun

I hope you're right. In due time we shall see. I've become more and more optimistic the past few months, but the fact that Rasulo is still the head honcho keeps me grounded.

Also, is there any, possible way we can get Dumbo from DL's magical over to the east coast. OMG! That thing is incredibly cute, and I got goosebumps from a youtube video of it.

I know! His ears were moving and everything.I want the whole show.

I believe you are describing the world pre-reorganization. Pre-"Onedisney".
All roads lead to Glendale now.

As I said in a previous post, I believe everyone at TDO could bounce their way to Glendale on pogo sticks to prove their desire for a new project and I'm not sure it would matter.

Again trying to turn your thoughts into facts. TDO has no desire to build anything at WDW they are totally in step with the heads of Parks & Resorts.

It is Glendale who can jump up and down with a desire to build new attractions and they will continually get shot down by upper management. This has been the way of the Company for at least ten years now.

The "reorganization" you keep talking about actually makes it harder for glendale to pitch projects because there are more layers of bureaucracy to get through now.

The only person with real influence may be Rohde. But even that may have been diminished by all the whining about Everest by the on-line community. And some of those whiners know this and yet persist.

Disney does not make decisions based on the general feelings of a message board. :hammer:

Which is why I have little respect for them.

A sentiment that goes both ways

When I say "glendale" I am refering to the ones that direct WDI. Namely Bob/John/Tony/Joe. Disney does not make final decisions based on the feelings of WDI's rank and file or TDO's feelings either for that matter.

What are you going to say when the new projects are announced that our insiders say are coming?

PS- Are you "ghost writing" for "74" now?

Although not as often as they should, they do read us. We were mentioned quite a lot when D23 went public.

With that in mind: Please bring the DL Tiki Room show to WDW!

Or since I am going to Star Wars Weekend on the 12th perhaps I should phrase it like: The DL Tiki Room show to WDW You Will Bring! :ROFLOL:

If they have to take out the Treehouse, I'd rather see the Spirit of Adventure from Up go in its place rather then a Pirate ship...
That or put some attraction based on Up in Adventureland, mostly so that Paradise Falls could serve as the main facade and be a really lovely addition to the Adventureland skyline.

LOLLLL Bob, Tony and Joe direct WDI now? Really? When did this promotion occur? Last time I checked Bruce Vaughn and Craig T. Russell headed up WDI reporting to Jay Rasolu. Lasseter serves as a creative advisor who stops by time to time.

Those guys you mentioned are just designers they have no control or say on what actual projects get built.

Not sure

nope. I just want to make sure people get the correct information not propoganda.
