You`re all wrong. The ride runs backwards; the descent is now the beginning. That`s why there has been no new news about the descent; it`s now the ascent.

Whoa man...you just blew my mind.

But wouldn't that mean at the exit you would be dropped off at the beginning of existence?

Well I guess we can finally figure out what happened...:lookaroun

Who is "we"?

We are the realists.

They can spruce up the ride in 10 years and some people will say, "They're finally finishing SSE's descent like the pundits said."

Nearly a year and half after it re-opened and you have a few triangles as proof it's not finish??

...I'd say it's currently in a provisionally permanent state!

I'm disappointed in the lack of creativity and sales job on the 4.1 attempt. Where's the fake quotes and details discovered?

"I rode SSE and it's finished!" - Where's the creativity man?!?!

So why do our sources keep telling us different?

Here's a "What If"

Remember when we were first hearing about this refurb of SSE and how it was going to have an amazing ending where we saw ourselves in the "future".

What if what we saw as the highly disappointing ending was not supposed to be the real one, maybe that was supposed to be a temporary fill-in all along while they were going to quickly open the real descent with some real technology around you and some things on the screens, but for some reason (budget cuts, etc.) this was delayed and we've been waiting for the slow transformation ever since.

Yes, it's a stretch and it feels like more than Disney is really striving for these days, but who knows?

Denial ain't just a river in Egypt.

That's as bad as saying the lame descent is part of Disney's grand plan, because they wanted to lower expectations only to blow us away with the completed descent.

Highly fricking unlikely.

I don't think they wanted to lower expectations, or else they wouldn't have ever installed the descent as-is to begin with.

So they've been doing work, leaving boxes of stuff laying near the descent (That I've seen personally) and moved all of these black curtains around for what? nothing?

i will second this. almost daily(i try to go at least every other day when i dont work) there are boxes along the side of SSE. last time i checked it wasnt a Quick service food and beverage attraction so those arent french fry boxes
