I`ve been told by 3, maybe 4 different, reliable and unconnected sources.

Unless TDO have pulled a massive one on all of us, but there`s too much evidence if you know where to look to the contrary, without being told things.

It just seems really fishy to me. I mean it's been almost a year and a half.

This is almost as bad as Test Track's opening.

The purpose may be to keep the tunnel from being completely empty and unthemed. Nothing like traveling backwards in an empty, dark tunnel.

I wish they had perhaps left in or extended the fiber optics throughout the entire descent instead of ripping everything bare, but I'm not about to complain about at least having triangles.

My guess is that the budget was focused on the new narrative, new show scenes, updating the animatronics, and sets. They look better now than they ever have in the past. The existing scenes had been left pretty much un-touched in the prior rehabs of the attraction, and looked like it too.

Yep.

Like I said before...If they were not doing anything, why add the triangles?

I once had a guest point to Space Mountain and call it Spaceship Earth:xmas:

My favorite is standing directly underneath the Jungle Cruise sign, and having guests come up to me and ask, "Is this Pirates of the Caribbean?"

*SirGoofy looks up at sign*

"No, that's actually up the stairs and to the left. Have a nice day!"
