All Epcot, All the Time (aka Has Disney given up on SSE?)

Why dont they have the entire panel glowing? Its strange and a half baked implemented idea for sure. Its clear a job has not been finished but at the same time its like they tried and gave up.

Yea, when I rode last weekend it did seem like there were a lot more triangles in the descent after where the glitter city used to be. So who knows...

after riding SSE today i am convinced there is no way they're done.

i looked around the entire decent and the celing is not even covered at all. just metal grates with bits of cardboard resting on them. the walls are all still covered with black curtains with random holes in them to portray stars and the triangles are barely lit up anymore if ever.

there has to be a bigger plan for the ride than a video with a cut out of your face put in the place of bodies. cool? ya it's but that video does not last the whole decent so i'm sure they're adding more. when is the question.
with the monsters inc ride put on the backburner for now and disney just focusing on refurbing most it's rides the answer is hopefully soon. probably not till past teh flower and garden show though

It's been like that since the ride opened. 16 months.

Little to say I'm starting to have my doubts.

i wouldnt think they would just altogether looking like a pile of trash though. i mean, although they are cutting back on a lot of things, how hard would it be to cover the ceiling or remove the random trash on it?

I know this has a little if any relevance to SSE, but since we have moved to whether or not they have decided to cut back at Epcot and how this may affect the finished/unfinished craptacular new SSE descent (every time I ride it I :brick:eek:n the touch screen and see the results its as about as smart as the new narration imo) I was wondering if this has affected any other new refurbs rumored down the line such as Imagination. That was going strong with some insider support but it seems as if momentum, at least here on the site, has slowed down to nothing. I was hoping if there was any news on that and how that was coming along in regards to everything else going on.

Anyway the SSE descent does leave much to ask for though and it does seem as if it is missing something, perhaps when attendance picks up a bit more, maybe even after SM is finished I hope we do see the full envisonment of what the descent is supposed to be.
