Seemed a little high to me as well, but isn't it all based on Skyliner access?

News New DVC Resale Restrictions Regarding Riveria and Reflections Resorts

How is that going to solve anything? People are not likely to let their points go to waste (given the investment they have in them), whether they use them, give them, or rent them. The capacity is going to be utilized either way.

I feel like I heard this in a parade at one point. It sounds like a parade practice track.

News New DVC Resale Restrictions Regarding Riveria and Reflections Resorts

I think the other part is that it is also driving down interest in DVC as well. Anyone who does basic research on buying DVC quickly comes across forums of owners complaining about availability. If you book your vacations 11 months out you don't have a problem. If you prefer to wait for...

Disney revoking AP's if you resell merch

That makes sense, so I suppose in Florida it is much harder to enforce. A while ago I noticed there were several Florida based seller who walked around World of Disney and some of the other stores photographing items and putting them up on eBay despite probably not having the item in hand. Like...

Disney revoking AP's if you resell merch

I'm curious on how enforcement is working here. I've never had an AP on either coast so forgive my ignorance. At DL do they scan your AP every time you get your discount, or are they simply finding people selling online and matching them up with someone on the AP rolls. My impression was that...

Disney revoking AP's if you resell merch

I've been buying off the app since it started. Intially it was great, as there were relatively few items that were not included, most of which were the more obscure non Disney items (things like Beetles shirts in the UK pavilion). Initially all of the items shipped out of a parks warehouse...

Fountain & Bottled Drink, Popcorn, Pretzel, and Other Snack Item Prices Exponentially

Yes the oil companies are some of the most hated companies in the world. On the most hated companies list you see a lot of airlines and cable companies. All companies that are famous for reducing the quality of their products while increasing prices. Disney seems to be moving in that direction.

News Disney to launch new Vacation Planning site to help guests with date-based tickets

I think your pre-planning angle for people like us is true. But I think you overestimate how much people who preplan know about Disney. I ran into a guy a couple weeks ago who was 3 weeks out from a CBR trip and didn't know he could prebook fastpasses. I see tons of people who will buy the...

News Disney to launch new Vacation Planning site to help guests with date-based tickets

What sort of "flexability" do you suppose people will get for the $100. Months? A year? No expiration?

News Disney to launch new Vacation Planning site to help guests with date-based tickets

I've read somewhere that Disney generally targets the top 10%ers. In the US the cutoff for that range is around 130,000. At that income you are certainly comfortable but you also don't throw your money around like Ritche Rich.

    First day arrival planning help

Not sure if this would work, but I have read several reports of people leaving their luggage at the Contemporary on arrival and departure days and then going to the Magic Kingdom. My understanding is that bell services does not check or really care if you have a reservation at that hotel. So...

    Ethics / Loopholes

It's no longer a thing on the current version of the app. But if you pull up your fastpasses on the mobile website it is still an option. I doubt that it will last but it is there as of today.

    Ethics / Loopholes

If you change party it over to someone that did enter the park with a valid ticket that was that is a non issues. Fastpass transfers don't work on the app, but they have not removed the feature from the mobile website yet. Seems likely that it will happen at some point but not yet.

    Ethics / Loopholes

I listen to said podcast here is basically how it would work: Lets assume I a single person am going to the Magic Kingdom for one day just to make things easy. To do this you need your primary account with a linked ticket. You book three fastpasses the normal way for early in the day. You...

    Complained About New Parking Fees

That's an interesting idea, although I'm not sure the records are always the correct address. For instance, Peyton Manning's political donation forms list his agent's office as his address for purposes of the contribution. EDIT: Bob's all seem to list either the Studio or a PO Box in Saratoga...
