The other thing you have to do is make sure that your contact the right person and not simply send it to the customer service department. Sending any complaint to any company's customer service hotline or address will guarantee you get a canned response that will more often than not, fail to even address the complaint you had. Any complaints should be sent to the CEO's home address, which is usually easily to get from the federal political donation database because almost every CEO in America will have donated to some political candidate in the past and when they do they have to fill out a form with their name and address.Stating verbally that you "dislike" the fee accomplishes nothing. Not giving them money and making sure that they know that the reason is because of it... will give it a much stronger message.
Someone should post Iger's and it should be flooded like the capital on Mr. Smith Goes To Washington. My e mails to these address's got me a half hour phone call from a assistant to Mr Kalogridis and our conversation was not a canned answering session.
I was told that Disney did not expect this strong response from park goers indicating dislike for the new parking fees.
He stated that the upper Management were convinced that any backlash from disgruntled customers would only last a few days and then be forgotten.
I reminded him that consumers have long memories and that Disney, like Sears and other "major" consumers supported businesses are not too big to fail.
He agreed.
IMO, if the complaints continue Disney will be forced to rethink this asinine money grab.
I was told that Mr Kalogridis reads all of his e mails. My initial email was to Robert Capek may be I should send another one to George Kalogridis; you seem to have gotten a better response than I did
Yeah...I get that. You have to pick and chose your battles. I'm not going to war over $19 or $24. Not going to war over resort fees either.
Stating verbally that you "dislike" the fee accomplishes nothing. Not giving them money and making sure that they know that the reason is because of it... will give it a much stronger message.

You are correct.... the parking fees are not the single reason for the reaction, but, more the straw that broke the camels back. Enough is enough. My enough came years ago, others apparently have plentiful resources and are willing to pay for every little thing that people tell them they should be charged for. I don't have a problem with that for them... it just won't be for me.Exactly. We won't be staying on-site any time soon. However, the reasons go beyond just the parking fees. Being severely overpriced plays a major part, but we dang sure aren't interested in paying for the "privilege" of leaving our car parked in the 3/4 empty POFQ parking lot at night. We'll gladly pay less for a full house off-site and I've emailed them letting them know that. Now that someone has posted the emails of some big shots, I'll be filling them in on our situation. Maybe they'll take us seriously, maybe they won't. Either way, We'll be walking the walk and not just talking the talk.

Pretty soon it is going to be like The Lorax and Disney will charge for air to breath. Maybe if they weren't showing billions in profit every year I might have a little more sympathy for their desperate plight. How long does anyone think it will be before they have a transportation fee for those that are landlocked in the resorts and need to take Disney transportation to get to the parks or other activities. Heck other places charge for transportation so Disney will be justified in doing so, no matter how little is included in those other high price charges.
This. The "on-site" related prices will continue to rise until the demand decreases (which doesn't seem to be happening). Whether it's parking fees, resort fees or increased room rates, it's all the same. It's hard to believe how much the rates for the deluxe monorail resorts have increased over the past 10 years, but the demand is still there so the large price increases will most likely continue.

I contacted them for this and also to complain about allowing dogs to sleep in some of the rooms - probably also in some of the beds. They will listen to your complaint and do nothing. The parking lots are not full, it is just a question of charging as much as people will pay. We are DVC members and often stay at the other hotels as well as we live in Florida. However those days are gone and on principle I will not pay the charges so this cuts down our visits to just DVC. Not that Disney cares.I was wondering if anyone has actually contacted Disney and complained about the new parking fees. If so, what was their reply?
Thanks!
It's cheaper than transplanting them, and besides, they'll grow back in what -- five years or so?Well Disney do like chopping down the trees.
Because DVC resorts have to pay part of the transportation maintenance...?Agree...but the deluxe prices have had a different dynamic.
Have you noticed that the monorail line has had a significant amount of DVC conversions?
Why is that?
