This is so true. I noticed this for the first time in 2019 when they made Rise of the Resistance a big announcement. Also for some reason, they did not save Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway Disneyland announcement for thatExpo, as they announced in the spring of that year.

Cars in this space would be terrible. This is one of the few attractions that Disney is building in this era with seemingly no IP attached. Let's keep it this way, as I believe this will be a huge win for EPCOT. You would be much better off building RSR somewhere else. I've also mentioned this...

It's true though. On a Disney World bus, I saw a family where their toddler was screaming until he was given his iPad. Saw them in the park later, with the kid still holding the iPad, eyes glued. Really sad.

One positive thing I can say is "Down in New Orleans" is a great song to play at the beginning. Really sets the mood.

Also Haunted Mansion, Finding Nemo, and Little Mermaid use the same ride system too. Heck, two of which are actual shells. So where's the backlash there? Also almost every boat ride lol...
