    2021/2022 Bus Crowds and Housekeeping

POR is scheduled to open later this year. It's been closed since March 2020. Housekeeping is now every other day trash and tidy. Sorry you had goop and mildew. Did you report it to Housekeeping?

    Disney After Hours BOO BASH

Ordered my tix last night for Sept 10. Linked it in MDE. All good. Today I get a UPS notification that I am expecting a 2nd day letter and it appears it will have my Boo Bash Ticket. I am also getting one for the Photo Pass I ordered last night as well.

Should the 2020 WDW Christmas Day parade mention the massive layoff situation?

My first thought to this idea is - how patronizing can you get?? Sure - let's tell the 28,000 people who got laid off how much we miss them.

Politics 28000 Layoffs coming to Disney's domestic theme parks - statement from Josh D'Amaro

Just another ‘look at me trying to do something’. I just wish she cared about her constituents here in MA instead of her national grandstanding.

Walt Disney World Park Hours cut starting September 8 2020

MA has $500 fine for non-compliance with their travel order. It’s not just those three states.

Should I cancel since there's no FP+, fireworks, limited dining, etc.? When will it return?

I have not read all the posts in this thread, but I read enough. If you are asking now whether you should cancel your April trip, then I would cancel. There is no guarantee WDW will be in any capacity that you seem to be desiring and from what I have seen and read, most of what you require will...

Walt Disney World Park Hours cut starting September 8 2020

Keep dreaming skippy. Reduced park hours. Resorts staying closed. I would love to be wrong but I cannot see it happening.

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

I don’t think we are disputing that many covid related deaths (such as what could have happened to my father) had comorbidities. What we are disputing is the claim that the remaining 6% is the true covid death number and therefore the whole pandemic is overblown. That is just plain wrong.

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

I did not want to dive into this discussion because I have much more important things to do, but I need to add my .02 to this. My father is 78 years old. He has dementia, circulation issues, high blood pressure and is almost two years removed from his second heart attack that resulted in a...

News Walt Disney World's COVID-19 reopening plans announced - July 11

I can see a FP+ 4th pass scenario where once you are in your park for the day, and the park you want to hop to has capacity, you will be allowed to reserve another park pass.

News Walt Disney World's COVID-19 reopening plans announced - July 11

The 'here to stay' has to be in reference to the next 18-24 months. Keep in mind there are a bunch of resorts still not open, capacities at parks are still low (and not even close to getting filled), and there are a boatload of entertainment and events that are either not running or will be...

Walt Disney World Park Hours cut starting September 8 2020

There is probably a go/no-go date that hasn’t occurred yet. Still too early to cancel.

Case number higher because more people tested yesterday vs day previous.

Death sells clicks. "If it bleeds it leads". "Cases up over 16 million!!!" gets more clicks than "Daily positive percent rate dropping".
