Great Article on DL Legacy from LA Times (but they don't know WDW!)

1979????????????????????????????? It shows you how much news and newspapers are telling us the truth!?!?!?! How come it mentions Tokoyo stuff, but nothing about the opening of EPCOT CENTER in 1982, that is a BIG milestone in Disney history. It is the FIRST non-magic-kingdom-type theme...

    Kali River Rapids Question

Best thing to do if you want to ride, is where a poncho. I know, you loose the effect of Kali, but at least my expensive camera will stay dry, and I am not walking around in wet clothes. From my past experience, people wearing ponchos usually get the wettest on the ride. Weird huh?!?!?!?!

Official: Why Soarin' is in The Land

This new addition to the Land Pavilion (Soarin') will help to make it one of the best pavilions in Future World. I will ride Soarin' many more times, it is my favorite ride at Epcot now. I stated this before about the attractions in the Land, and how they help with the subject of the Land...

    Pictures of Ride/Attraction Posters??

I started collecting WDW attraction poster couple of years ago. Now they are discontinued at WDW. I got: Pirates, Splash, Thunder Mountain, Haunted Mansion, Snow White, Tea Cups, Tomorrowland, Walt Disney World Railroad, old Monorail poster, and an old 20K Under the Sea.

In Need of Opening Park Tips

First, if you are staying on Property, utilize the Extra Morning Hours. If Magic Kingdom has a "EMH" the park opens at 8:00am. I would try to get there in between 7:30am and 7:45am. You will have problems getting to the parks during opening times of "EMH" if you drive. I tried it at Animal...

    The Wonderful World of Disney

It is weird that this post came up............ My father and I were discussing about "Vault Disney" and the old shows they had on the Disney Channel. I used to watch Wonderful World of Color, old Disney cartoons, and LOVE the Disney Afternoon cartoons: Duck Tales, Chip/Dale Rescue Rangers...

    What's after EVEREST?

Some of those rumors on disneycorner are far-fetched. Monorail expansion, no. It is cheaper for Disney to run buses than build more monorail. 5th theme park, no. Disney is trying to build up MGM and AK more, get the parks to near full capacity. But I like the idea of the Journey/Center of...

    Goodbye Kryssa... hello Stacy

Am I the only one that found her very ANNOYING?!?!? Yea, she looks good, but she was very annoying. I think Sam Brown from the Great Hotels show and Passport to Europe would make an excellent host for WDW Resort TV. Good riddens to Krys..s.s. whatever her name was.....................

ABC News on Disney Parks Secrets and 50th

I got ALL 6 right... The Sly was a tricky one, but I remember that Atlas kind of looked like Sly alittle bit. Here is a little trivia for you guys............ The Contemporary Resort Tower rooms were built on the ground, and then hoisted into place like drawers on a dresser. They built...

    Leave a Legacy, Epcot.

The Leave a Legacy reminds me of a graveyard or the Vietiam (spelling) Memorial in Washington D.C. I HAVE a MK stone. My family bought it back in 1995. Our stone is off the beaten path where it is easy to find and see, but not alot of people walk on it. It is to the right of Guest...

Effects of Soarin/Land on TT or M:S yet?

I am hoping that Soarin will help revive the West part of Epcot, maybe Journey w/ Figment will have a 5 minute wait instead of "0" minutes like it always have. One thing I not happy about, is that The Land Pavilion will draw bigger crowds, which means probably longer lines for Living With...
