    Mexico Goes Digital

I believe you are incorrect about this. When it reopened it looked digital, but within 6 months it was obviously blurry again. And the screen still flickers, which means it's still film. It just got a new print.

Have you ever come up with an idea before disney?...

Years ago when I was little I made attractions in my basement. This required a lot of black sheets hanging up on the walls. Ten years later- Spaceship Earth.

    Walls in HM Queue

It's not that we don't like change. It's that we have very little faith in the imagineers of today. Nearly everything they touch turns out for the worse. Since 2006 alone they've ruined Spaceship Earth, Pirates of the Caribbean, It's a Small World in Disneyland, and the TTA. The last...

    Splash Mountain

It will be closed this year. They're finally adding the new logs with lap bars.

    WDW Railroad-Possible Closure?

They've changed the train voice since 2000. It's similar, but it just sounds like an impression of the old guy to be honest.

    Frontierland entrance work

Somehow I doubt they belong in Liberty Square seeing as how that's colonial Philadelphia/New York etc. And do I really need to explain why Tiana would not be a princess in this time period?

My first Disneyland trip - thoughts and fair comparissons to Orlando

I come to this same conclusion every time I visit Disneyland. Luckily there is a happy medium- Disneyland Paris. :)

My first Disneyland trip - thoughts and fair comparissons to Orlando

Though the look of the Disneyland Hotel from the outside may be mundane, the actual experience of staying there is pretty comparable to staying at the Contemporary. Then again some would say the Contemporary isn't very magical either. Back in the 90's, when the marina and old...

    "Still beats Disney's California Adventure"

DCA is more fun than DHS, Epcot, and DAK. Consider that the most popular attractions at Walt Disney World, Soarin' and Toy Story Midway Mania, are both there, as is the Tower of Terror and California Screamin', which is way better than Rock'n RollerCoaster. That Simpsons joke was still funny...

"I like the new Memories Campaign!" Positive Comments only

Why is there a typo in roughly half of the thread titles on this site?

My trip report and observations - new and improved 2010 version!

Martin, your opinion on Universal is nearly identical to mine. The Team Members at the entrance irritate me a lot, and really set the wrong tone for the day. I'll be interested in hearing whether you thought Indiana Jones was better than Forbidden Journey.

    Getting to MNSSHP....

There's a bus that goes to the TTC. From there you take the monorail.

    What I think...as of today...for now...

No, that's pretty much a direct screen shot from Beauty and the Beast.

    Just the Facts

Except it's not below grade. Fantasyland is the third level of the Magic Kingdom.

Cool Video of someones model of DisneyWorld

They don't do that. There's cameras and intrusion mats.

Evaced last night on Splash Mountain

In defense of the original poster, resetting Splash Mountain usually takes longer than it's supposed to because half the CMs are too dumb to count logs correctly.

    What I think...as of today...for now...

jto4, let me summarize for you, on behalf of just about everyone on WDWmagic and the internets in general. Lee is an insider. You are an idiot. Please leave now and take your FAIL with you.

    Space Mountain Speaker Tests?

WDW's is actually shorter, though the actual fast portion is almost exactly the same. And the 7 min music loop shouldn't be that big of a deal since you never wait much inside anyway. Once you pass Fastpass merge, you usually walk all the way to the loading area. All the extra indoor queue...

    What I think...as of today...for now...

Snow White's Adventures closed in 1993, so you're 17 years late. If you're so passionate about the ride, you might want to try getting the name right.

New Small World Merchandise that makes you go hmmm

I don't think anyone was against the characters in Small World more than me, but when I went on the ride, they didn't bother me at all. Granted, I went on the Holiday version, so there was more stuff added that might have derived some attention away from the characters, but overall it wasn't...
