Wow, quite colorful. Maybe a little too colorful.
Is there any elevated shots of this wall to better understand it's size?

Yes.Just a hunch - Management, and by extension WDI, expect people with tiles to love these, and line up to take their picture with their tile with big smiles on their faces and post it on Instagram. Because that’s all that matters, right?
I'll ask the guys on the ISS to take a shot the next time they pass by.Wow, quite colorful. Maybe a little too colorful.

you could probably see it from thereI'll ask the guys on the ISS to take a shot the next time they pass by.
I feel like they are intentionally doing this. It's a widely used architectural technique to compress space so that the space you're presented with after moving through it feels larger and even more grand. Frank Lloyd Wright is famous for it, referring to it as compression and release.Feels claustrophobic
Anyone else feel like there’s more now than when they were on the monoliths? Also surprised me that they “reprinted” them, I had assumed that they would just attach the old panels to a new wall.
I like it though, can’t wait to find our pictures once again!
What are you talking about? Those new walls change nothing about the entrance width.I feel like they are intentionally doing this. "By creating a deliberately small space through which one must pass before reaching a larger space, he caused a temporary sense of tension, followed by the feeling of freedom."

Not that SSE needs any help to feel grand![]()
Yes, I'm aware of that but I could have been clearer I guess. I wasn't saying anything about physically changing the entrance width. I'm talking about creating a visual barrier that is intentionally contained (making a previous poster say the photos brought on a feeling of claustrophobia), before opening up to the entry plaza beyond. Even the aspect ratio of the individual panels being quite slim relative to their height reinforces the feeling of containment these walls produce. But...just going off of the photos. Haven't seen myself. What are you talking about? Those new walls change nothing about the entrance width.
Those that are installed are inside the secure zone so you would only walk past them on the busiest days of the year when they use the east lots. Most days of the year nobody would even be over there except on purpose.Yes, I'm aware of that but I could have been clearer I guess. That's all? Not so bad. Easily ignorable.
Assuming there are not more to be installed in another location, most people will never even see these unless they go over there on purpose. It’s essentially the exit path that would be used on super busy days when the east lots are used like July 4th and NYE.That's all? Not so bad. Easily ignorable.
That's why a more brightly colored wall is a better choice to keep it from looking like a cemetery memorial, like the monoliths did.Reminds me of the Vietnam Wall. Much like the fountain spot lights by SSE aimed upward reminds me of the World Trade Center memorial.

Can someone who knows where the walls are draw where they are on an overhead map? Here's a blank...

Bit more than that.
There is more to come, going here.View attachment 531016
Start at panel 1 and follow the arrows to get to panel 284.
This does not appear to be all the panels. I looked up John Smith on the tile finder and the last John is on panel 446. They are probably doing something similar at the west exit.
Wasn’t trying to be 100% precise, just the general area where they are installed. Looks like the rest will be to the west of the west security stationBit more than that.
