What do you guys think of this?
I just see this as a way to turn Satellite radio into a monopoly and have no competition so the rates can just skyrocket.
Also, I foresee this becoming like cable...every "group" of stations are going to cost additional fees like movie channels and sports packages on cable and satellite TV.
This is not a good thing for satellite customers. Yes, you'll have access to more programming, but for more money.
The FAQ section on XM's site asks the question: Will prices increase?...and they tiptoed around it very blatantly.
They should give everybody a free trial once this gets up and running to allow their subscribers to see what they're paying for before actually paying for it.
