What difference does it make? All he said was that if he wanted better songs, he'd record a CD or use his iPod in the car. Even if you swear by XM, there's no arguing that you can literally put anything you want music-wise on an iPod.
Why is this an argument?
I wonder what's going to happen with Howie.
Will everybody have access to O&A and Stern?
As long as they don't mess much with the Sirius programming and channel lineup, I have no problem with this at all. The things I would want from XM would be the Cinemagic station, their true 90's station and the ACC/Big 10 football games.
So you actually don't know what it is to have XM... in your car...
I'm quite happy with an MP3 player and a cd player, thank you.
I love Cinemagic! Hmmm I might be interested in the Hair Band Channel that Sirius has... that would be cool. But I def want Margaritaville! :sohappy:
I think Sirius really has XM beat in the music department and I think you'll enjoy those stations. I usually listen to The Big 80's (which is phenomenal), Hip Hop Nation, The Pulse (which isn't as good as XM's pure 90's station), the new Lithium 24 which is a 90's alternative station, Octane (Hard Rock station), and Super Shuffle which plays a little of everything.
Hair Nation is a good station though and I wouldn't be able to tell you anything about Magaritaville.
I really wish Sirius had something to compare with Cinemagic, which I thought was easily XM's best produced station. The song selection and the clips between are fantastic.
It will be interesting to see how they do all of this when they do merge.
With your first comment... I agree... to a point. But,... then you have to admit that XM is far superior on the Tech side than Sirius. Better gadgets.... etc.
I have always believed that Sirius had some better content.... but XM led the pack when it came to technology and innovation.

I do foresee O&A and Howard becoming premium stations, should the merger go through with a separate fee for listening to each of them. So what we would have is "basic satellite" and then just like HBO, SHO, STARZ, etc. extra fees for bonuses.
Cool man... no one here is forcing it down your throat. To each his own.
What's Cinemagic?!?!?! *goes and logs onto XM*
Cinemagic plays movie soundtracks and overtures. It is really cool for relaxing music.
