I don't know ATM. The area like I said is becoming a bit of a joke internally so I doubt it'll involve glasses!

Ha. Well, that's good. Would be interested to see if they used the building for a traditional dark ride, using both theaters, and maybe ever lifts ala Transformers.

T2 has several years left yet. Expect some TLC and downtime very soon for upgrades.
That is welcome news in my book.
Hopfully they will redo T2's preshow. Shaquille O'Neill is no longer with the Orlando Magic.
I do not understand why people want the preshow updated. Terminator 2 takes place in 1995. Maybe it should be stated so that the setting is better set, but I think the show taking place in the 1990s makes perfect sense with the chronology of the Terminator films.

He doesn't play anywhere anymore. He's been all over the place since Orlando...also playing for the Lakers, Heat, Cavaliers, Suns, and Celtics. They did update the video years ago to him in a Lakers style jersey...but that was years ago.

I'm wondering if well get a surprise announcement referencing a replacement show for Fear Factor Live...more on the Simpsons expansion, and maybe the new waterpark? I'm really anxious to hear more about that.

You won't hear more about the water park from Universal until they've long since broken ground on it and they're into their final year on the lease for the W&W land (which I believe is now on a yearly contract basis anyway). You're far more likely to hear something definitive on it from here or another insider elsewhere before Universal says anything. If I had to guess, I'd say we're a good 3-5 years before it breaks ground, and add another to it before the opening. That's an optimistic guess, as well.

So I was at Universal today and noticed some minor show quality improvements in a few attractions:

Mummy appeared to have new projectors in the treasure room and the launch.

Cat seemed really cleaned up and re-painted.

Simpsons projectors seemed at least cleaned up and all effects were working.

So in a nutshell, Universal appears to want to improve show quality. What a novel consept!

I hope to see the new waterpark in 3-5 years. I love waterparks, but the ones down here in central Florida never add...aside from Blastaway Beach at Wet N Wild this year, it's been years since additions at the other parks: Typhoon Lagoon - Crush N Gusher 2005, Aquatica - Omaka Rocka 2010, Adventure Island - Riptide 2006, Wet N Wild - Brain Wash 2007.
