No. Please no. Everything I read about the one in USH sucks. Now, if they wanted to do a haunted hotel ride using the classic monsters, let's do it!
I do not entirely understand this sentiment. What would stop a new version of the attraction from being better?

Lack of motivation to keep it properly staffed. Staffing a HHN house for a month is one thing. For a year-round attraction, they'd fall back on stupid automated gags like Hollywood does.

I don't think we'd ever see it here. It's just not popular enough.

Oh we won't, I was saying since I know many here haven't done it and like to think a year round haunt would be cool. The concept is cool for the first visit or two but then it quickly loses its appeal. I on the other hand have had the pleasure of finding the exit for this attraction during regular hours and for several HHN layovers. No matter what, it's terrible.

I've gone through it twice...and I can see it being somewhat fun the first few times through, but honestly I I probably wouldn't waste time going through it again.

IYup. Keeping things fresh. God bless Comcast.
That's really exciting! That ride needs some upgrades. It's one of my favorites...think it's really well done, even if it isn't the most popular attraction in the park by any means. I think it has better staying power than Shrek too so if I had to choose, Shrek definitely gets the axe.

I'm really surprise shrek is on its last legs.... I really like the show and it seems very popular on both coasts still.... I thought the shrek franchise was still reasonably strong too (they just released another Halloween short on DVD over here and will probably do the same for Xmas)...

It's so odd that Twister manages to cling on while other seemingly more popular attractions face the chop....

A question I do have however... If and when shrek is replaced would it be for another child friendly/family attraction?

if i had my way i'd have it using King Kong 360 3D technology 2.0 because there's already spiderman but either way it sounds good
