Hello don't you remember American Idol! Everyone watches that (that watches Hannah Montana and HSM.... uhg to the last, just a little uh to the first, and yes I know others watch it too.) and that is so much better that a land based on a classic novel/movie series that will fade away within the next five years, wait....:lookaroun

Oh....:lookaroun

Oh that was a good one....a little low...but good

Guys? This is a huge steel coaster all over Universal Studios and CityWalk, causing noise pollution, disrupting skylines and making everything ugly.
Fits right in with City Walk though!

I'm hoping that at some point during the ride portion through City Walk that it extends into the rotunda where the credit card vendors are and we somehow get stuck, due to traffic, in the parking garage. Our only hope for survival: $5 dollar vending machines of Coke products and assorted snack items. Would make for an awesome ride.

It sounds like an interesting concept but it's a better fit (as a ride concept, not theme) in IOA. The whole rollycoaster wizzing by as I'm taking a walk through soundstages just doesn't make sense.

Oh, and as a thread this is totally out of place and almost a month late.

Because Pooh's Playground is something to plan vacations around!

You obviously haven't spoken to my 4 year old yet!

You know, you all might dislike that little plot in Fantasy Land but it has it's fan base (they just can't speak for themselves around here b/c they haven't learned to write yet)!!!

The only reason you all hate PPS is b/c it supposably replaced 20K! If they built PPS anywhere else you'd all leave it alone!

Am I missing something? Did we all forget the huge disparity in theme park attendance last year. MK had something like ten million more people than universal. It is not like they are as serious a threat as many make them out to be. Granted, we would all love to see disney do something innovative and new, but they still pack them in. As far as recessions, they are a natural part of an economy and nothing to jump off of buildings over. I also fail to see how DVC will ruin disney. I am happy that universal is getting a new ride and a new harry potter whatever. I seriously doubt that it will amount to a five minute wait on soarin in july.

The credit card vendors are the classiest part of Uni!

I wonder if Universal realizes how tacky their presence is?

But really, for Jimmy Neutron???

Is that the best franchise they have to back? Wern't they breaking ties w/Nick as Nick/Cedar Parks ramp up? And with Nick taking over Mall of America. Where CAN'T you find the SpongeBob 3D Pickle Chase? I know I've seen it at least 4 places now.

Nerdtron isn't even one of the power franchises anymore? At least go Fairly OddParents.

Looks like Disney isn't the only one that has problems making Gold from their Power franchises. Welcome to the club Universal. What's the next Free Agent yer picking up?

YOU HAVE HELLBOY!!!

Bourne.
Galactica.
Fast/Furious.
Barbie.
Heroes.
SNL.
Voyagers.
And I still can't believe they killed Hitchcock. By far one of the coolest things going on in the whole park.

Yeah, Universal is reeeeally blowing Disney away.

Since 2001, they've added one new roller coaster, a 3d show, a seasonal lagoon show, and they're about to build one more coaster, a refurbed simulator based on a 20 year old cartoon, and Potterland.

In that same time, Disney's added Expedition Everest, Nemo the Musical, Dino-Rama, Mission Space, Soarin', The Seas with Nemo, Turtle Talk, updated films in Canada, China, and America, the Mexico upgrade, new Innoventions exhibits, an updated Spaceship Earth, Toy Story Mania, Light Motors Action, One Man's Dream, Mickey's Philharmagic, Stitch, Monsters Inc, Pooh's Playground, Aladdin's Carpets, major refurbs to Pirates, Small World, and Haunted Mansion, as well as Wishes fireworks and numerous parades throughout the resort, not to mention all the new holiday events.

Yeah, I'd much rather go see all those Universal additions. There's never anything new at Disney!

:sohappy::sohappy::sohappy:
But shhhh....
Don't spread this around too much. We want more people to labor under the Disney never does anything delusion so they will crowd Universal and give us shorter lines at WDW.

God bless the "Ignore" button.
Would it kill people to actually post in the correct forum?

We have a forum for this? Haha... just kidding.

No, seriously, where is this forum?

Also, if they're putting in this ride, you think they'd at least be able to make a track with a sweet orchestral score! Seriously.

No, we hate it because somting much better could be going there instead of that waste of space.

Well, that's your opinion! The age group at which PPS is targeted towards happens to think it's a great use of space!

I still stand by my original comment. I think if they had built PPS anywhere else in the MK it wouldn't get near the negative attention it gets around here! Everybody views it as a replacement for 20K b/c it's in the same location! Obviously you can't compare a play area to an attraction like 20K, so everybody considers it a poor replacement or in your case "that waste of space"!

If you all got your Fantasy Land attraction that you wanted, I'm sure the "PPS hate club" would die overnight!

It's been shown over and over that the playground only takes up a fraction of the space and there's plenty of room left for when the need arises to utilize that area. Those that still like to whine about the playground just show their disconnect from reality and their jealousy of toddlers. Quite ludicrous, and pitiful, huh?
