The layout makes a lot more sense at MK. What kills it are the scenes that are missing.

This looks ridiculous and only would've drawn more attention to the building. As big. as the Guardians building is, I think it's better they left it the way it is. I know it's big, but tbh, I go to Epcot a lot and don't notice it unless i'm right at the ride entrance. Maybe because i'm not actively looking for it while i'm at the park

As far as we know, no. I think he was just clarifying that the monetary figures he was familiar with included that cost.

Well I'm curious now, the new TTA narrator mentions that the Speedway and Tron are for "light speedy competition"

Doesn’t seem like it. But I think the point is that initial high quotes number included work for a light racer theme for Speedway. So the cost is probably less than quoted.

And unfortunately, Disney has done much to undo a lot of that work since 2006.
Like the rest of WED-era MK, more thought was put into it than can be seen when visiting the park today.

At one point I heard Tron in Shanghai was 200, and that’s still way too much.
If Guardians only cost 28.5% more than Tron, that’s insane. Guardians is way more than 28.5% of the ride than Tron is.
Guardian’s cost is ridiculous, sure, but at least it has a seat at the world’s best coaster debate.

Probably a couple of qualifiers there, I'll give him best coaster in WDW or even the crown of Epcot coasters but world class? Not by a mouse's whisker
