I have Tron Orlando down as 350 million - including Speedway work.
Other than slightly moving the speedway track again (already done) , are we expecting any other changes to it?

This looks ridiculous and only would've drawn more attention to the building. As big. as the Guardians building is, I think it's better they left it the way it is. I know it's big, but tbh, I go to Epcot a lot and don't notice it unless i'm right at the ride entrance. Maybe because i'm not actively looking for it while i'm at the park
What Speedway work?I have Tron Orlando down as 350 million - including Speedway work.
Light Racers.What Speedway work?
Light Racers.
We’ve been hearing about that for years… is it still happening?Light Racers.
Well I'm curious now, the new TTA narrator mentions that the Speedway and Tron are for "light speedy competition"As far as we know, no. I think he was just clarifying that the monetary figures he was familiar with included that cost.
Doesn’t seem like it. But I think the point is that initial high quotes number included work for a light racer theme for Speedway. So the cost is probably less than quoted. We’ve been hearing about that for years… is it still happening?
It’s less but not in any way better.Doesn’t seem like it. But I think the point is that initial high quotes number included work for a light racer theme for Speedway. So the cost is probably less than quoted.
Considerable effort went into the attraction, with many of the changes considered to be improvements at the time.
If that’s the budget for Tron, makes Guardian’s budget seem a lot more reasonableI have Tron Orlando down as 350 million - including Speedway work.
Neither should be considered reasonable. If that’s the budget for Tron, makes Guardian’s budget seem a lot more reasonable
At one point I heard Tron in Shanghai was 200, and that’s still way too much.Neither should be considered reasonable.
What what?!Guardian’s cost is ridiculous, sure, but at least it has a seat at the world’s best coaster debate.
Probably a couple of qualifiers there, I'll give him best coaster in WDW or even the crown of Epcot coasters but world class? Not by a mouse's whiskerWhat what?!
I'm definitely not a coaster guy, not even close but I know coaster guys and what they want.. this ain't it
Tiana Mountain enters the chat. We’ve been hearing about that for years… is it still happening?
the crown of Epcot coasters
Yeah no, Universal has a coaster that enters that discussion, Sea World Adventure Parks own a few, but Disney does not. What what?!
