I have teared up more than once at WDW. I always get a little weepy during Finding Nemo: the Musical because I see my two little girls growing up, and I totally sympathize with Marlin about being scared of letting them go but knowing I have to. I get weepy during the Lion King whenever I hear The Circle of Life. The music just moves me. I cry a ridiculous amount of tears every time I watch the American Adventure or listen to the Voices of Liberty (to the point that one of the performers came up to me after the show to make sure I was okay. That was embarrassing ) because despite all of our country's flaws, I love it and love living here.

People are moved by different things and have different passions and loves. I think it's wonderful when someone produces something whether it's music, a show, or yes, even a theme park ride or land, that makes us feel. Diagon Alley and Frozen struck a cord with people, and I think that's wonderful.
HEH, I had a similar moment in the circle of life the first time I seen the festival of the lion king..
really hits you in the nostalgia and childhood parts.

I tear up when I watch the American Adventure - and I am not American. I think that attraction does something that is Disney's core business: pull your heartstrings. :)

I guess I need to book another cruise then, still haven't seen Frozen...
I like your thinking. I'm boarding the Fantasy again in four weeks. I have been fortunate through extensive business and pleasure travel to visit every Disney park in the world multiple times and every ship multiple times. DCL is, in my opinion, the best thing Disney does.

Yesterday, Universal made an oopsie and didn't set an HHN announcement video on private, luckily someone reposted it before it got deleted. Looks like From Dusk Till Dawn (tv show) is coming to HHN

somewhere some intern is getting fired

Edit: looks like Universal caught up to them. They'll probably just end up releasing it again on Monday.

I don't understand it, but, I do envy it. My personality causes me to not really feel any non-connected emotional feeling. By that I mean that I can enjoy, shows, sporting events and everyday events but, never to that depth. My daughter laughs that I brought her up the same way... I believe she calls it.. Dead on the inside! :jawdrop: She's lying though. I've seen her cry at the drop of a hat watching a movie or reading a book. I don't!

There have been so many times in my life when I wished that I could feel that way about things. I love American Adventure and as a Veteran I also have more then just a small connection to some of the scenes and emotions. I do feel something, but, it would never even be close to being called "tears to my eyes" emotion. The closest I ever came to it was when I viewed The Wall in Washington, DC. When I thought of all those names, 55000, that died and I still cannot figure out what was gained to balance off that tremendous loss. Even then I don't know if I feel bad because they died or guilty because I didn't. Either way, that's the closest I have ever come.

I love Disney. I have been going there regularly since 1983. I always feel comfortable and happy when I am there, but, sentimentality is just not me. I can sit (when I can find a bench) and flash back to the happiest time of my life and that was on my first trip with my young children. I can think of those days from long, long ago and it only makes me smile. So, enjoy the fact that you can express that, that you can get teary when something touches you that closely. It must be a very nice release. It must be!
