Yes, it could have been something. The footprint and original design would still limit a cohesive layout but imagine a fully populated Sunset with 4-5 E tickets plus a fully fleshed Muppet Movieland plus decent use of the stages when the production side declined.

Plus an Indy EMV behind the stunt show on the 4 acre plot reserved for it.

When I worked at the Studios in 1995 they told Cast Members about an "attraction" called "Project X." It was described as a black box that had a moveable track that they could change the layout and sets often depending on new movies and....conventions. They said that they could/would theme the attractions easily to match the logos and content matching the company or companies renting out the park for parties and conventions. The paperwork said the idea came from an similar idea they had for WestCot.

I have not met too many people remember hearing that and was curious if you had? I need to find the booklet it was mentioned. It was part of a training manual that had a few pages at the end about "The Furutre of DIsney-MGM Studios..."

Yep as Martin said that sounds like CAVE technology...a similar version of the proposed technology can be found in the POTC attraction at DisneyQuest

I'm liberally using spoiler tags so that this post is not absolutely massive (although some may be considered spoilers such as Mystic Manor at the end).

General photos around the resort and pre-rope drop.

Yes, there exists a gate opening before the gate-opening, before the rope drop. Let's thank the jet leg... This was two hours before park open but I wanted to take a stroll around the resort beforehand anyways.

More frustrating.

Even he doesn't believe the contrived BS he spouts hence all the back tracking and changing of his tune once rumbled.

Wonder where he gets that uncut pure dust from?
maybe he is a 100% paid shill from some disney PR marketing guerilla?
all to counter most of Uni's growth in popularity?
I wonder if there are others like him on the different Disney fan forums that are now talking very wildly about Universal's new potter land.

He's doing something I often do by making a general assumption not to be taken literally. He's trying to say the period immediately before Eisner-Wells and the lag time until changes are noticeable.
No, he repeatedly states rumour and plain wrong information as facts and then either distorts or ignores things to try to back track. Aside from posting the same drivel time after time across multiple threads and boards. The mods have also noticed.

I thought it was one or the other? This is wrong?

By the way, I've had my eyes on Atlantis Resort in the. Bahamas. Did you know the company that built it got taken over by its financial company? This means the resort is a prime target for a takeover! Disney or Uni better be looking into it!
Aulani v2?
considering how big Atlantis is.. they could build 2 parks there. dont they?

Because only @marni1971 and Spirit will care, they've fixed the cannon smoke effect on DLP's SM:
That's great news. That prop is so large it is a shame it has so many problems. Including before opening. There again, that prop is so large it is no surprise it has so many problems. But when the side door closes, the canon recoils, it booms, releases and blows full smoke it looks awesome. When I last rode in 2012 the inride visuals did look stunning though. Orlandos stuck and burnt out star projectors just paled in comparison.

The trains look the originals. I really do hope the replacements are still forthcoming. It is a huge and well known issue.

Indy or DTCS, not both, which raises the question of why they went with a third option: RRRC
Indy was first mooted after CrimeStoppers was cancelled. I don't believe both were on the table at the same time.

One can assume RnRC as-is was rushed in to plug the gap and give the park a full on white knuckle coaster and attract the intended demographic. The original Rocking Rollercoaster was a much bigger custom project.
