We did it once. Shameless plug for the trip of a lifetime. No wonder it was so expensive. If anyone can afford to go to Uni Florida and Disneyland in the same trip please introduce us, I'd like to see if they would be interested in adopting me.
I'm sorry, but I've been visiting WDW since 1976 yearly up to 2006. There has never been a more exciting time to go than the late 80's! The excitement was palpating when Splash opened and Disney-MGM studios opened. Even though the park was small when it opened, it was really amazing. This lead to the announcement that it would triple in size. What we got instead was still very good but would not have happened had the park not have had such an opening success! And which one of those attractions would you want WDW to open today? Everything you mentioned is a B or C ticket(outside of MGM which was terrible in 1989).

And so it continues....
At least it's amusing.
So would you be interested in adopting me. I am still potty trained! We did it once. Shameless plug for the trip of a lifetime.
8 flights, 4 cars, 1 helicopter. 3 weeks, 16,000 miles. Manchester to Orlando to Atlanta to Orange County California to Las Vegas to California to Atlanta to Orlando to Manchester. Never again
Telling the DCA CMs we watched RoE 12 hours ago when buying our DL APs was so funny. It was like "you're from England? You were in WDW last night? Saw the new Potterland two days ago? And now you're in Disneyland?"
They even brought their manager out to listen
My bad. It was Disneyland when splash open in the 80s.Splash was the 1992 and DHS expansion occurred in 90's as well. The 90's were a great time for Disney ride expansion, and I think when we look back at this decade we will find it to rank very high when it comes WDW park expansion.
Splash Mountain is a ride that went well beyond expectations on opening. I still believe it is the gold standard for attractions. It is thrilling, has memorable music, and tells a complete story. My bad. It was Disneyland when splash open in the 80s.
What is amazing is literally as it opened in DL, they began designing the WDW version. It was designed and ground clearing began 15 months later. My bad. It was Disneyland when splash open in the 80s.
I couldn't agree more. Add to that list twilight zone Tower of terror at DHS and also add the Indiana Jones ride at Disneyland.Splash Mountain is a ride that went well beyond expectations on opening. Yes and don't get me started about wishing that Frank Wells was still alive and Michael Eisner was still CEO.What is amazing is literally as it opened in DL, they began designing the WDW version. Ground was cleared within a year.

They wouldn't pay for it.Radiator Springs Racers as well. Why Indy isn't in WDW is beyond me.
Well I know why… You want to hear the story?Radiator Springs Racers as well. Why Indy isn't in WDW is beyond me.
For Disney HISTORY Nut, I'm surprised that even you don't know the story. They wouldn't pay for it.
