One can only hope...

The fact that the big boys in the company went over people's heads to get things done makes me wonder why the people who were circumvented are still employeed. The fact that people needed to go around them to improve the parks obviously shows they have no idea what is needed in a good theme park, and there for do not deserve the positions they are in.

My guess would be a combination of some well negotiated contracts and looking for the appropriate spin.

Disney has made some sweeping internal announcements and is investigating how the plans leaked.

I'll still say it was done on purpose ... either at a high level by someone in order to take attention off all the PR disasters that WDW has been going through and has no worry of ever being found out or anything happening because they were leaked ... OR by someone trying to exert pressure to make sure this happens since as far as I know the money hasn't been officially pushed through (could be by now).

Again, this doesn't mean that the plans leaked online are 100% approved, but it does mean that they're close enough to concern the Company.

I keep hearing D23 was very pi$$ed, which seems to suggest the rumors of some announcements in Anaheim in September were/are true.

Frankly, I can't blame them. This really is a serious breach of the NDA.

Obviously ... but one would wonder if the culprit(s) will ever truly be found.

On the bright side, whoever leaked the plans restored the public's faith in WDP&R: everyone from fans to the Sentinel to investors have noticed the leaked blueprints, and the consensus has been, "It's about time!"

My faith hasn't been 'restored' yet ... not in O-Town ... but I never fully lost it either. But with so much happening from Anaheim to Ohau, Hong Kong to Shanghai, Paris to D.C. to the high seas ... one would finally like to have some very significant stuff on the way for WDW.

It is amazing how certain people keep their jobs.. I always said that those who don't deserve the positions must have something on the higher ups and therefore get to keep their jobs while someone else who does deserve to be there gets the shaft....

Why couldn't the Cinderella meet and greet be IN the castle?

This would leave room for Jasmine, Alice, or even Mary Poppins.

So much that I'd like to say ... so much ... and none of it would last.

So, let's just say P&R is run like a boys club and leave it at that!

I just read on another forum from an insider who says Barnstormer is changing theme into a Walt-Era film. He can't say the anem, but it is on the blue prints (but it's blurry). He says he has seen them up close.

Hi - New here, but have been following this thread from the beginning and enjoying the spectulation(s).

My guess on this is Herbie. (I see "H-E-R-?-E) Provided that the O/C at the begining of the word is actually part of the track.) I could be completely off, but it could sort of go with the speedway nearby. Plus, from the way I see the plans, there is no connection along that portion of the walkway toward the pixie area. So, the theme wouldn't need to match up on that side.

I looked up Herbie, and he's not "Walt Era", but just after. "The Love Bug" was released in 1969, so I could definately be off on this.

yes from an insider, but who knows. I heard it on the Mice Chat WDW forum. apparently others guessed it too before he could even confirm it so apparently it has been floating around

Thanks for that... It is funny cause, when I saw the plans, the first thing I thought the blurred words said was CHERSHIRE COASTER, but I couldn't really tell... it sure did look like a lot of other words too...

A Chershire Cat themed coaster makes sense there... They can make the whole area Wonderland themed... maybe finally adding the Alice in Wonderland dark ride from DL!!!!

I'd rather get a new AiW ride exclusive to MK.... but nothing that good ever happens  I'd kill for Alice's Curious Labyrinth.
