The New Fantasyland

While I know where you are trying to go with this MK is TOO much about the children, IMO. I still think it needs another thrill E-ticket.

Meh. If they have the money for another E ticket I'd much rather see it go into one of the other parks.

If you kids don't shut up back there, so help me I will turn this Fantasy Land right back around. You hear me, Boys?

Sarah, stop going so easy on them. They need some Respect.

Daniel! DANIEL. I will smack a child! I'll do it Mister!

SARAH, STOP IT. We are GETTING this Thread to FLORIDA if it KILLS US.

My guess is it is because you are cynical and unable to see this project through the eyes of those it is meant for. Everything is not about you. Children go to WDW too.

Can you seriously say to me this plan is better than the redo of Disneyland's fantasyland that is now over 20 years old? I dare you to say that with a straight face.

Actually Disneyland Paris has already two castles: Sleeping Beauty's and in Alice's Curious Labyrinth the one of the Queen of Hearts. :)

On a technicality, you've got me.:animwink: Here, I'll rephrase it:

It would be cool to be the only Disney park with two castle over 20 ft high.

Eh, here's the way I look at it. MGM already has three E-ticket thrills in Star Tours, Tower, and Coaster. EPCOT has M:S, TT, and Soarin'. DAK has Dino, KS, Kali, and Everest.

DAK and DHS just need smaller additions, not Es. EPCOT needs smaller additions to WS. MK doesn't need small additions, especially after this. Once Mermaid is done, I think MK is a thrill ride and some theming updates away from being a very, very good park.

I could not figure out what you meant, but hmmm yea it does look like it could be representing another castle with a moat and bridge. Not sure what to think now.

If they do everthing in this plan, yes I can. But again, I know how this will be received by folks who it is designed for. Primarily the family. That is really how you have to view it. And with that in perspective this plan is awesome. But you won't "get it" because you can't or won't so I will end here with this pointless conversation.

I did notice how quickly you jumped in when I started talking about a second castle. I think your precious TWWoHP has a real competition with this project. Families will love this.

Yes, families will love it. Heck I'll love it. But Disney still has nothing ride wise top the Potter ride, nor have they yet to top Spider-man.

My priority is an E ticket thriller for World Showcase, an Indiana Jones hybrid E ticket at DHS, and AK definitely needs another E ticket. Then maybe MK. Just an opinion.

I completely understand. Personally I'd like to see Indy in Adventureland, but that's because I just love Adventureland.

A family isn't going to make the extra trip to florida for some new theming and a couple of extra meet and greats. Sorry.

C'est vrai. People fall in love with MK as a child, but when they go back as an adult (or even as a teenager as many of us did), it would be cool to have something new and more suited for their age, so it's not 100% nostalgia.
