Very well put, I agree entirely. Now is the perfect and only time we could have had Pinnochio and Alice dark rides. I really can't see much use to me for the new FL. I'll walk through it but in a 10 day trip I don't think I'd walk through it a 2nd time y'know BUT glad that its there.

Ooo... I would love an Alice DR! :sohappy: The one in DL is really nice, especially how it comes outside. Sad to see no Alice DR in that current blueprint. :(

As Martin said, the ride will be at true ground level so it would probably be easier to go under the road similar to how SM goes under the railroad. Or it could go over similar to how pirates does. Or we are just getting the stage show from DHS and that is assuming the drawing is real.
I think there is some confusion here about the ground level attraction.
Mermaid is taking up the old 20k plot, which is two levels. What you see on the plan would likely just be the queue, with the actual ride being under that. Don't let the size of the building on the plan fool you.

I was just assuming the building might house a stage show and the ride. I hear what you're saying.

Here is the Beast castle. Hmmm, looks familiar. :lookaroun

Has anyone noticed on the overlay that Pooh's playground is moved over to the right a little? It's also a completly different size. I hope this means that it will at least be enhanced.

The playground has apparently gone the way of the dodo. Pooh will be relegated to his ride and a nice meet and greet inside a tree.

Although if your looking for a playground there appears to be a large one coming with pixie hollow.

I have to agree with a previous poster that I am both incredibly excited, yet at the same time a bit disappointed. I love the fact that the MK is getting a big expansion that includes a TS and E-ticket, but I am disappointed we're only getting one attraction above an A/B. Still, I am very, very glad something is happening.:)

I agree. It would be great to see more actual rides, but this plan serves a certain purpose...capacity. It will add a lot more capacity to the park in general and FL specifically.
If nothing else, it should look very nice.:D

Cinderella definitely looks like at least a "C", Dumbo also seems to be "plussed" as though they are expecting crowds possibly indicating it could be a "D". Little Mermaid is an "E" by all reports and it appears it may have other minor attractions including a possible "D" ticket stage show. This scenario would fit the rumors. And a rethemed barnstormer could be another "C" ticket.

That is an E, two D's and 2 C's. Plus a whole lot more.

Knowing that LM would be using muliple levels, It looks like the Cinderella attraction appears to be 2 theaters that are multilevel like Country Bears. All the doors would be exits at differant elevations in the theaters

Agreed. MK's capacity is busting at the seams currently. We've been just a little busy the past few days, and with Space and TTA closed, we've been insne.

I don't know. I don't consider a walk through a C, and adding another Dumbo doesn't make the ride a D, IMO. A stage show could be hit or miss, I would hope that it turns out well. As for Barnstormer, it's not an addition, so I wasn't really considering that, but i hope the retheme turns out nice.

And yes Mermaid will hopefully be a true E, as long as they don't water it down for us, which from all the reports I've heard, they won't.:D Again, I don't want to sound like I'm bashing these plans, because I am very excited. But I would have really like to see 1 more dark ride.

I took Martin's hint to be that TLM will be a 2-story darkride, somewhat lile Alice in Wonderland at DL.

Of course, instead of being a true 2-story building (with double the apparent square footage) I'm guessing the vehicles might travel up and down inclines, similar to the Peter Pan style TLM attraction animation shown on the DVD.

Is this how DCA's will be laid out too?

This could explain why that Dumbo area has so much extra, unused area to its left (to right of TLM). Maybe, the ride extends into this area as well, but will be hidden with theming/landscaping on that side.

Whew. The size of the building and the name "Voyage of Little Mermaid" was starting to really freak me out a little.
