Thank GOODNESS for this thread. But the plans are pretty much unknown until the D23 Expo, right?

For those of you wondering about how construction would take place, it's actually pretty simple. During construction, a wall will be placed from the northern most tip of Pinnochio's Village Haus going southeast until it winds directly behind Dumbo, then moves southeast leaves a walkway north of Snow White and Pooh, then going east until it connects at the northern most point of Indy Speedway. Once that happens, the Toon area is gone for good, as are Ariel's Grotto and the Pooh's Playground.

After construction is finished on the new area and it is opened, the old Dumbo area will be walled off with room to walk around so that it can be demolished and the Walls built.

Simple as that.

How long would this take in a "perfect World"? And are you suggesting two stages in construction?

The plans everyone is seeing is not going to be the final product for sure, but you can probably count on a few things being right, namely Little Mermaid. No word on if the plans are truely "fake", but just not the final green-light plans.

If you read the date then you'll see this plans has been out there for over a year, so I'm sure this has been a big anticipated suprise for them.

^ It`s not so much the info, which as you say had been publically known in various shapes and forms for a while, more the fact it appeared in the public domain so visually.

No. I wouldn't expect to see land being moved until an announcement is made.

I'm fairly certain it was cleared during DAK's construction, and the rumor was that land was going to move for an addition this year.
