Word on the street is that it's not happening because of the poor results from this quarter that were released today (and Monster's won't happen before 2011), but hey, what do I know?

Actually, I don't think you know much.
Disney's poor quarterly results were ANNOUNCED yesterday (as required by SEC rules). But the company has known internally the poor economic situation for months. It not like things suddenly got bad last week, and all projects approved last month were abruptly cancelled.

Certainly not, in attractions, you are right there, but I was thinking in look, feel and themeing.

I want this in the new FL. Now how cool would that be?! What an amazing bit of concept art.
It seems almost real and I know the perfect place to place this concept.
Taking M&G's to another level.

Seeing it's a tower, it could be a nice lookout for the park, Ala the one they have in DLP.

I was thinking where the FL skyway station is. They could create a forced perspective tower with M&G in the rocky base. The HM/IaSW show buildings could have canyon wall facades attached to them complete with the waterfall. It could all be built up to still allow for access to the backstage road. I've seen several versions of the Rapunzel tower but the canyon version is by far the best. If the entire movie is as unbelieveable as the art just released, this movie will be a true classic in animation art.

I am actually happy Rapunzel was then scrapped for the classic animation rather of the CGI I have heard for quite some time.
Nice to see Disney return to 2D animation!

Rapunzel is CG. Princess\Frog is not.
Both look great so far
The idea of putting the tower in Fantasyland is great. The impression I've been given with all the artwork is there will be a lot of natural scenery, like.. forests.. :lol:
Actually it is a combination of both hand drawn and cgi. Rapunzel is something entirely new.
The lush feel of the scene is really what I hope the new FL captures. I can't tell you how amazing that art is. Whoever did that has certainly spent some time in the Alps I think. Beautiful.

On my PC I use uTorrent and haven't had any problems with it.
On my netbook running Ubuntu Linux, I use the pre-installed Transmission. (gotta love an OS that comes with a BitTorrent client pre-installed)
