In your opinion, what is the most quintessentially "Disney" spot in the parks? When you think "Walt Disney World" what is the first spot that flashes to your mind?
For me it's Mainstreet, USA. We always start our vacations at MK, and that's the opening credits right there!
Your thoughts?

The spot where you see the Partners statue & the Cinderella Castle together.

Somewhere around the walkways in the Poly, GF or Contemporary resort.

The Discovery trails around the Tree of Life.

And Innoventions Plaza, 360 degree view around. :)

The entire of Main Street, USA, looking down towards the Castle with the railroad station behind you. It's very peaceful and just sets the mood I believe.

Sadly, there's nothing peaceful about the MK IMO...unless you're there when all of the guests are gone (then it's beauitful and silent...until the pressure washers come out). Such a hectic, frenzied place...esp. MSUSA and FL:dazzle:

When I think Disney, I think of World Showcase. I know MSUSA is the quintessentially "Disney" spot, but for me, its WS. :)
World Showcase is also a "Disney Spot" for us too..:)

So, peaceful and romantic..especially at night just strolling along ...and sitting on a bench people watching...:)

I guess if you think about there are "Disney Spots" at almost every park or resort..

Not so much AK or The Studios for us..but I know the hammocks at the Poly is one of our Disney spots and I am sure everyone can think of one at almost every place..:)

For me it has to be the first good view of the castle that I get while riding the monorail. Makes me cry everytime. Heck though, just boarding the tram in the parking lot makes me wanna do cartwheels. And definately as pp said when you make that little curve and see the Welcome to WDW sign... pure heaven!

Even just seeing a picture gives me goosebumps. THIS is just Disney to me. It's the moment you leave real life and enter AWESOMENESS!

I'm going to agree with so many of you that Main Street is definitly a Disney Spot. Also the sight with Main Street stores on both sides of you as you see the castle.

I also think standing at the boat pick up at the end of Future World looking across the lake at The World Showcase. To me, the knowledge and imagineering of Disney.

There are others... let me think about it.
