The Magic Of Disney Animation closing?

I remember a while back he mentioned that several things were set to close at DHS before the year was up. But never specified what.
Sounds like Muppets, TSMM, GMR, ToT, B&TB, RnRC, Indy, Disney Junior, Frozen Sing-a-Long and Star Tours are the only things they plan to keep up from 2016-2020.

But if it makes you feel better most rumors have been saying Star wars will take over echo lake! Granted that isn't guaranteed! I am sure we shall know more soon!
Haha it's just that I'm pretty sure I heard one of the insiders say Muppets would get a slight increase in presence (Pizza Planet/Mama Melrose retheme, return of Muppet Mobile Labs, intro of Electric Mayhem).

Especially if all of Animation Courtyard is closed except Disney Junior. I could see Pixar Place using that and some of the Backlot, while Muppets gets the rest of SoA. Then, Star Wars gets Echo Lake and the parking lot space behind it.

If the building does close. Where will Hiro and Baymax go? Epcot?
Who cares... I am more concerned about the parks having actual attractions... the M&Gs are responsible for the lack of things to do... Unfortunately we have allowed Disney to rest on Meet and Greets... i remember when they were building Hong Kong Disneyland and there were only a couple rides in the whole park... The Disney Company said that the people of Hong Kong were more interested in Meet and Greets and shopping and Dining experiences than actual rides....They were dead wrong...and they have been playing catch up with that park ever since...
Seems like they are trying that game here now too... and as long as the Princess m&Gs have 3 hour lines, we will get very little for actual rides... So...

It's a valid statement.
Have been reading all the threads/posts about this until my eyes are almost bleeding. Is One Man's Dream on the same timeline for the chopping block as the Magic of Disney Animation? Would just love to know I get to do it one more time if they don't choose to move it.

This was a great little show, but the part where it went to a Big Hero 6 segment, I was expecting a section on how they animated them, or a quick demonstration of to draw some of the characters. In reality it was just a minute preview of Big Hero 6, 2 months after I'd watched it at the cinema. Maybe it's not seen as financially viable to keep this fresh and up to date.

While I found "One Man's Dream" extremely interesting, it always kind of struck me as a little inappropriate to have a museum inside a Disney Park.
Traditionally, the entire ethos of these parks was that they weren't museums.

Meet and Greets are an enormous part of the WDW experience and something that separates WDW from Anypark USA.

You may not like them, but to anyone with young kids, they are essential. They need MORE, not less.

But certainly agreed they need many more real attractions as well. M & Gs should not be considered "attractions" by any stretch of the imagination. They are a completely different offering, just like restaurants aren't considered attractions.

Like everything else at DHS it's old news as soon as its news. But anything you treasure I'd say see as soon as possible.

Why remove the only thing that has been added to DHS in the last seven years? The mermaid or beauty and the beast shows can go first.

Because it's a stupid attraction based on an incredibly overrated movie that will become redundant when the Frozen ride in Norway reopens? I agree, though, Beauty and the Beast and the Little Mermaid should go, too.
