Question: does the fan help some while wearing the mask? This heat is killing me wearing a mask.
Yes, and no..unfortunately.
Yes, because you can fan your face to cool it down.. but that doesn’t really help with the breathing.
I have a high tolerance for being hot and uncomfortable, but even I got dizzy after a while. We left for about an hour to go get Chipotle and eat in the car, just so we could have a mask break in the AC. We were in line for a ride when I decided I just couldn’t do it any longer, I wasn’t feeling well.
The break helped, and we went back in time for 3 more rides and then the 4th of July fireworks display.
One thing with Cedar Fair’s new Covid policies- No shows. So no break for AC unless you’re eating at one of 3 indoor restaurants, but it’s nearly impossible to find seating with the social distancing , we had to stand with our trays for about 5 minutes before seeing someone get up. Also, you are only allowed to remove the mask to eat, then it must go right back on... not too much of a break.
We had a great time despite the masks and heat, but I don’t think we’ll go too often, nor to any outdoor places that require a mask the entire time.
I don’t know how it could work at WDW... I think a lot of people are going to suffer dehydration, heat exhaustion, or heat stroke

(I think it was carried via ESPN on Saturday. Due to covid restrictions, no large crowds allowed.)
But, very happy that you and T had a fun day together.
You always seem to find fun activities that you can both enjoy.
