Apparently they were giving out tickets for Orion ride times yesterday, 3-4 kids passed out in line on Thursday. Not sure why KI isn’t doing virtual wait times thru the app.. but anyway.. hope is to get a ticket right away before they run out.. unsure if Re-entry into the park is allowed or not. If so, then we’ll leave, go to the pool, then come back at night for fireworks.

A friend of mine has 10 year old twins who waited 4.5 hours to ride Orion on Thursday.
I can’t do it. We waited over 3.5 hours for Mystic Timbers on opening night the year it opened.. never again.

We brought our Disney fan.

Arrived here at noon, temperature tent was a 10 minutes wait, luckily.. then we speed walked to Orion for a pass. Our boarding time is 6pm.

Roller coasters are going at half capacity. Everything is right around a 90 minutes wait so far. Predicting it will get worse as the day goes on.
T is in the restroom then we’re heading for a water ride.

I have friends from Mexico that drive from Chicago to Central Mexico every Christmas. It takes several days. At the TX/MEX border there are hundreds of cars traveling from different parts of the USA waiting for everyone to show up. Then as a massive caravan they drive into Mexico. This is a big deterrent for drug cartels who control different sections of Mexico to kidnap, rob and or assault vacationers driving into Mexico to their destination.
Technically, drug cartels do not give a darn or even mess with the tourists.
They GET money from selling to tourists afterall.
Infact, some narcs actually kill the thieves who attack/rob the tourists.
Anyway yes, some states are very dangerous to be alone. But like everywhere.. practice caution, logic, stay away from bad areas of the towns you're visiting.

Very true, extortion of businesses is big businesses. the Italian mafia in the USA are experts. Some I know left owning business in Chinatown NYC since the extortion/protection payments to the Chinese gangs were just too much monthly.

We have Alligators and turtles here XD

We have turtles, deer, and alligators.
I haven’t seen nearly as many dear as I used to, since I’m using the freeway because of lighter Covid traffic, and not shortcutting through the more affluent neighborhood to and from my country back road on my work commute.
The map below even shows alligators well into Central Texas, although in 45+ years of living here, I’ve never seen one in the wild, only in captivity.

The map is a little inaccurate for florida. The crocs are only in southern Florida , but alligators are in the entire state. The Everglades are unique in that it’s the only place in the world where 2 different types of crocodiles coexist.

We’re still here. Real Feel is 102 right now, down from 104 earlier... with an air quality alert. Someone puked in front of us while in line for Banshee.. it was disgusting, made me nauseous.
They have health tents set up for people who get heat exhaustion.. I’ve seen the medical cart quite a few times. It really is hard to breathe in this humidity and a mask. I can’t even imagine what Disney World would be like. Are they requiring masks?

Question: does the fan help some while wearing the mask? This heat is killing me wearing a mask.
