I enjoyed Frozen when I saw it at the theater, especially the sound track. But there a long, long stretch, much too long of merchandising every thing from tableware, clothing, toys, towels, you name it-it had Frozen slapped on it. Plus the over played Frozen tune.

I went from enjoying the movie to absolutely hating it. Odd for me I actually like the attraction in Norway. My brain cells have fights about that.
If you get a chance, listen to the Frozen Broadway Cast recording. It's kind of grown up Frozen and has different songs, not just Let It Go. I think it helps give the characters more depth.

Um, hello computer geeks..?

Someone other than myself dropped the laptop charger onto a tile floor while plugging the laptop into the hotel TV via HDMI so we could watch Netflix. 🙄

🙄🙄🙄

🤬

We got a few minutes into a program, and the low power warning popped up. We figured the outlet wasn’t working and plugged it in elsewhere. Thinking it was fine, we watched several more minutes. No new warnings, it just stopped, and won’t power back up.

Could the charger have broken from the fall?

Also, I’m in the middle of nowhere with no real stores. 🥴
When you have a problem computer wise, tag me and/or @Cesar R M . We both have worked in IT (Cesar more heavily than me; I mostly self taught since my parents are utterly clueless) but, speaking at least for myself, I don't usually read the entire thread, but do read tags and replies.

Onto your question...I saw you got another charger, but yeah, it definitely could have broken from the fall. You can always try a different outlet to test, although you got another charger now I saw.

So @Songbird76 With your son likely being excited that the petting zoo area of AK will be open for your trip will you guys also hit up the Animation Academy drawing that is moving back there too. I'm so excited the drawing class is coming back. It was back for a limited time in the Oddesy Building during the Festival of Arts this winter. Mine, well it was kinda sad, I always said I can paint but I cannot draw.

Guess which is mine.

My Dad died from his first and only heart attack at 45.

His Dad, the same, in his early 50’s (after losing a toe, then foot, then leg to diabetes.)

I’m trying to be the first guy to hit 55, and show my much younger bro how to do it.

I eat very healthy, but with a balance for favorites now and then (esp. at WDW.)

Some years I do better than others. Right now, I’m on a roll, but not so much last year. I can tell by the size of my gut 🤣 and how regularly I get to the gym.

For my 45th bday (3 years ago) I paid out of pocket for a test you would normally only get if you were having heart problems. Everything was clean. Seems like nothing, but doing that changed my perspective from “cheating death” to living a long time.

Still, gotta watch the cholesterol. Genes don’t change.

I love your strength. I admire your perverseness. Food is a coping vice for so many. I don't judge that. There are so many other vices that are even far worse and I believe most have a check that they lean to when the pressure is on. Most need some type of a release.

Sadly a few of these releases are visibly known to the World. I so hate the ridicule for any of them. It is just Adulting style bullying and shaming. So not a fan of adults swarms on humans struggling. We'd all be happier if we as a whole didn't pounce on weaknesses of others.

When my DD was a lifeguard here and away at college she always wore Croc flip flops. They have a nice cush to them and arch support as she was on her feet a lot and on concrete. If you fall in love with them and wear them a lot watch the soles. When the grippies molded into the sole start to wear out throw them out. Croc's are pretty slip proof until then on pool decks unlike cheap toss away ones and they do last a long time. You'll likely go boom when their life is over if you keep wearing them.

thanks! I had a pair of airwalk ones for years that I just loved so much, and then I got a foot fungus and ended up having to throw them out. By that time they stopped making the airwalk ones and I was so sad.... but hopefully the croc ones will fit the bill.

We several years almost had a mishap with my sons incredibly expensive laptop while watching Netflix. Be thankful it was just the charger.

I ordered a Roku. It stays in my carry on bag which goes with me if we drive out of town or fly Florida. In the last year though most of the hotels we've stayed in have gone to smart tv's and all you have to do is tap the netflix icon and enter your password. At Marriott's housekeeping leaves the TV on after tiding up if Netflix is on the screen.
But still the $30 Roku is something you might consider over using a laptop as a streaming device.

we just take our amazon stick with us...it's as small as a thumb drive, and a cable... I don't bother taking it to disney though... we are never in the room long enough to really watch much.

How many more years until you can send James off to college.

Note: Most Universities have different dining plan options. You need to take into consideration which ones offer Unlimited Dining, you can have as many meals or snacks as you wish. With how your boys eat living in a dorm with a dining plan will far outweigh the savings of a shared apartment given how expensive food is around college campuses.
At least 2 and he's thinking about living at home and commuting for the first 2 years of college:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

^^^^^^This although I have one dead pair for wearing out onto the deck so I don't burn the bottom of my feet side note I've done more than a couple of 7am until after 2 am days in Disney wearing them. My current favorites are the Capri's
