Special, indeed...!!!!! :)
As I’ve posted before, my first visit was in 1968 at age 6.
I remember riding long-extinct attractions such as Mine Train Through Nature’s Wonderland and Adventure Through Inner Space...

Remember riding both PotC and HM for the first time in ‘68 and ‘70, the year after each opened in ‘67 and ‘69, respectively.
And riding Star Tours the year it opened in ‘87...
Good times...!!!!!
Unfortunately, haven’t been back since summer of ‘10.
We’ve been talkin’ about remedyin’ that after our October cruise...we’re wanting to do both a trip to So Cal and DLR, as well as Europe, in the next coupla’ years...!!!!! :)
I loved Inner Space! I also enjoyed the trip to Mars. My first trip, I was 6, and I was pretty sure we really were going to Mars. And I was worried about getting back to normal size after Inner Space. Gosh, I was cute!

Me too! And I love the Tiana ones so much more than I thought I would. They turned out so cute....we lucked out finding the faux vines. I think we have something like 22 pairs of ears now? DH thinks we're insane. But we JUST noticed yesterday that we completely forgot to make any Aladdin ones! And now we don't really have time to go looking for the proper materials and such, so no Aladdin ones, I guess.
Something for next time. They did come out really cute.

3 days until Father's day View attachment 381008
Father's Day is important, but Flag Day comes first. Flag Day is when my parents got married.

Hamburgers are going to bought at Sendik's Food Market for Father's day due to deal. Will be getting Bacon Cheddar Burgers,

They are going to them being grilled on the George Foreman Grill with them on toasted pretzel buns. Sendik's food market is a local grocer.

Happy Anniversary to your parents. Sounds like a great menu for tomorrow.

I was able to see Toy Story 4 yesterday. D23 was offering a special free screening for it in certain cities and one was in Minneapolis yesterday at 1:30pm so I took a friend. Since the movie isn't being released for another week, they were very tight on security. We had to bag and check our cell phones and then we were wanded as we entered the theater, even when we left to get popcorn and returned a couple minutes later he had to wand us again. And then when the movie started a security guard stood watch to make sure no one had slipped in a recording device! So that all was a different movie going experience.

Don't worry I won't give any spoilers but I will say that we both enjoyed the movie. There are a lot of funny parts and some emotional moments. We both agreed that it was a good movie but also left a little conflicted about the ending. I'll look forward to hearing reviews/thoughts from you all when you get a chance to see it. Since hubby wasn't able to go we will go again together, so I'm going to have to be really careful not to slip up and tell him how it all went down! Also they didn't show us a short before the movie so I'm assuming there will be one to paying movie goers.

Wow. That was a fun opportunity. :)

Thanks. I meant to say the Burgers are for Father's Day. As far as my parent's meal tomorrow, they are going to a supper club tomorrow by themselves.

The Supper Club in Question is one that they also go to when its my mom's birthday and Valentine's Day. The only times I have the Supper Club's food is my mom's birthday and get fish fry from their fish fry drive thru.

They do have great food. I had main entree, appetizer, soup, and dessert there on My mom's birthday in the past including last year.

The Supper Club has steak, seafood, Pork & veal, poultry, and vegetarian main entree selections. I have no idea what soups or desserts the Supper Club has tomorrow since some of their desserts and soups are seasonal.

Hahaaa...!!!
I don’t remember doin’ the mars ride, although we probably did...? 🤔
At Inner Space, when I was 6, I knew they probably couldn’t actually shrink people, but, I couldn’t figure out how they got the real guests to look so small, and I could never get close enough to see any detail...I thought it was some sort of amazin’ optical illusion...!!!!! :hilarious:
I was kinda’ bummed when I found out a coupla’ years later they were just models...!!! :bored::cyclops:;):)

Thinkin’ about when I mentioned Mine Train Through Nature’s Wonderland in that other post, it got me to thinkin’ about a small theme park that was just down the road from us when we lived in San Jose, CA. It was called Frontier Village and they had a “Lost Dutchman Mine Ride” that was pretty cool, among many other fun attractions.
It was no Disneyland, to be sure, but, it was only about 25 mins. down the road, and a relatively inexpensive way to spend a good-fun day...!!! :)
We even met Juan Epstein (Robert Hegyes) and Arnold Horshack (Ron Palillo) from “Welcome Back Kotter” there one time...!!!!!!!:joyfull::hilarious::geek:

we just take our amazon stick with us...it's as small as a thumb drive, and a cable... I don't bother taking it to disney though... we are never in the room long enough to really watch much.
We take our Fire Stick. With a small child you really never know how long you'll spend in the room, LOL. But we also take it on other trips. I really like the Apple TV we have at home, but for travel you really cannot beat the Fire Stick.

That is the size of my Roku too, they have been around a while and it and it’s remote just live in my carry on bag.
