Yesterday, we went back to the same restaurant for lunch, but we were not smart about it like the day before, when we had gone at an off-peak time. (We were the only ones in the place.) This time, we went at 12:30, and with other dogs there, Kylie was whining before we even ordered. (She wants to go sniffing and playing.) Not wanting to be “that guy,” I ordered and took her back to the room; Brian waited for the order and took it to go.

Omg - what a great pork sandwich! If you’ve ever read my TR’s, you know there’s almost always some kind of BBQ pulled pork sandwich in there. It’s a go-to cheat for me.

This wasn’t BBQ. It was called “mojo pork with grilled onions.” Whatever that means, whatever the flavoring was, it was not visible, very light, and super delicious. Top 3 all time pork sandwiches, easily.

B had a mahi sandwich.

Then we both passed out lol.

we just take our amazon stick with us...it's as small as a thumb drive, and a cable... I don't bother taking it to disney though... we are never in the room long enough to really watch much.

We take our Fire Stick. With a small child you really never know how long you'll spend in the room, LOL. But we also take it on other trips. I really like the Apple TV we have at home, but for travel you really cannot beat the Fire Stick.

And last night, after my walk and my gym, we drove down to Key West to meet a friend for dinner. She picked the place, called The Flaming Buoy. (Get it?) 🏳️‍🌈

She has been a fixture down there as a bartender for over 30 years. She knew this place had a couple of outdoor tables. When we arrived, and they saw it was her, they asked if Kylie was well-behaved. With that afternoon in the back of my head, I said, “Yes.” I knew there would be no other dogs because they weren’t generally allowed inside.

Great meal, great time, fab restaurant (wait til I get to the theming) and a perfectly behaved puppy.

She just rested under the table the whole time, got a few drinks of water, and eventually each staff member came over to see her. At the end of the evening, I brought her out from under the table, they made such a fuss over her, and told us Kylie was welcome there (inside) anytime. 😊

So @Songbird76 With your son likely being excited that the petting zoo area of AK will be open for your trip will you guys also hit up the Animation Academy drawing that is moving back there too. I'm so excited the drawing class is coming back. It was back for a limited time in the Oddesy Building during the Festival of Arts this winter. Mine, well it was kinda sad, I always said I can paint but I cannot draw.

Guess which is mine.

Oh I thought those classes were at Art of Animation! DD wants to do that. She loves drawing, so we will probably make it over there, yes.

I was able to see Toy Story 4 yesterday. D23 was offering a special free screening for it in certain cities and one was in Minneapolis yesterday at 1:30pm so I took a friend. Since the movie isn't being released for another week, they were very tight on security. We had to bag and check our cell phones and then we were wanded as we entered the theater, even when we left to get popcorn and returned a couple minutes later he had to wand us again. And then when the movie started a security guard stood watch to make sure no one had slipped in a recording device! So that all was a different movie going experience.

Don't worry I won't give any spoilers but I will say that we both enjoyed the movie. There are a lot of funny parts and some emotional moments. We both agreed that it was a good movie but also left a little conflicted about the ending. I'll look forward to hearing reviews/thoughts from you all when you get a chance to see it. Since hubby wasn't able to go we will go again together, so I'm going to have to be really careful not to slip up and tell him how it all went down! Also they didn't show us a short before the movie so I'm assuming there will be one to paying movie goers.

Mojo is a style of cuban cooking, it usually starts with the meat being marinated in a citrus marinade of oranges, limes and other tasty things.
