Well unless that Cinderella Castle goes for 50% off, it won’t find its way under our tree.We have a running list of desired Lego sets. Yes, Cinderella's Castle, the Death Star, and Hogwarts were all added by my oldest.
Ours either, lol. I give the kid credit for having good taste though.Well unless that Cinderella Castle goes for 50% off, it won’t find its way under our tree.
Yep, I’m only about 300 pages behind...
I tried to smoke bacon once, but, I couldn't keep it lit. (rim shot)My dh smoked some bacon for me yesterday
I’ve caught up to this ketchup, just under 200 pages behind now!
We sometimes have a turkey with cranberry port sauce for Christmas but not this year. I usually put fruit inside the turkey and cover the bird with bacon.

Yes, to bathe one's plate in delicious gravy...that is the only way it should be done.
I do what my mom did and make the stuffing the night before and let it rest in the refrigerator. So in the morning when I stuff the turkey they are both the same temperature, maybe that helps I never thought about that before. Stuffing was always and is always homemade on holidays, we used Stove Top (which is good too) the rest of the year. I use my mom's recipe and it is so simple, dry bread cube (1 packet plain, 2 herbed), butter, onions, celery, salt, pepper, sage and chicken broth. So good. My husband's family always used Stove Top and once he had my mom's stuffing he said it was so much better. Now if I even joke about not making mom's stuffing for a turkey dinner he whines and complains. The rest of the year he is just fine with Stove Top or generic Stove Top.
Well, I figure that you will probably be seeing her in the next day or two anyway. You can ask her then.
I'm a total stuffing fiend...give me the pork, the bread...I'll eat at least a little of it all!My mom has always made a bread-based stuffing, and my MIL a cornbread-based stuffing with celery and sage. Both sooo delicious, I love the contrast...!!!!!
It is dried figs and apricots stuffing and very tasty, I don't like onion or celery so I don't enjoy traditional stuffing.
The crispy bacon on top is amazing and also helps keep the turkey moist.
She who did all the cooking didn't have time to take the pics
30 days until my very first trip to Disney!!
aaa those days when things were simple..
I have noticed that @donaldtoo is a master at emojisIt takes about a second to take a pic...you don't hafta' set up a tripod or anything. Most of the rest of us seem to be able to do it as you request...!
