We have a running list of desired Lego sets. Yes, Cinderella's Castle, the Death Star, and Hogwarts were all added by my oldest.So far nobody asked for Legos.

That sounds lovely. I'm going to make a paprikash with some leftover turkey tomorrow. I was reading the Taste of Home magazine and saw a recipe for it with chicken and I think turkey will work well in the recipe.

@Gabe1 That feast looked so good! Makes me wish I celebrate Thanksgiving.
@MySmallWorldof4 I still love Lego but never buy any. No room in my tiny apartment to put it.
@Mr Ferret 88 I always wonder how much of a discount you actually get with the Black Friday deals. Luckily my family doesn't do presents at Christmas so no shopping for me.
The deals are rarely Earth shattering but we still save quite a bit of money.

^^^This. I didn't even go to the grocery store. I did however do something I hardly ever do I bought a pair of boots online I tried on in a store couple of weeks ago and couldn't justify buying them at full price 60% off i couldn't justify not getting them
I felt bad on Wednesday because I was at the book store and almost bought a book for my daughter, but I wanted to see what the reviews were so I looked it up on Amazon. The price was half as much as in the store so I ordered it from Amazon while standing inside their competitor with the book in my hand

I went "black Friday" shopping on Thursday morning and got everything I was hoping for. So today I avoided the madness and my daughter and I #OptedOutside with some friends

The big gift my dh got me was from a family owned single store and it's in a brick building. They beat the best online price by almost 10%
The boots I ordered are getting shipped to the store to be picked up.
