We go back the third week of August. The week before school is our county fair. Growing up those of us in 4-H/FFA had to load our animals, tack and equipment on Sunday (the last day of the fair and everything had to stay in place until 8 pm) then we started school the next morning. By the time we were done clearing out the fair barn, a twenty minute drive home, unloading trailers and bedding down our animals in our barn, we wouldn't get to sleep until 1 a.m. It was fun though it was hard work. :)

FFA jackets were all over my HS.
Memories. :)

That looks delicious! I would only modify it slightly by getting rid of the sesame seed bun and replacing with a plain, white bread one; and I'm not sure what kind of peppers those are, so I might bypass those. What I really like, though, is adding some chopped onions--never thought of that before. :hungry:

You REALLY need to make yourself a chili cheese dog with mustard and CHOPPED ONIONS...
STAT!!!!! :joyfull: :hungry: :hungry: :hungry: :)

feb 10-16. Its a convention.

OK I'm going to upload a photo of the the crowd expectations for you by date and park, plus the overall combo.

Note: The Second half of your trip is Presidents Day Weekend. It varies but for our school district that is a 4-5 day weekend as we combo it with teacher institute days. Many families bolt for warmth that weekend. Add in you have Valentines Day Weekend too that same weekend.

I'd be doing every E ticket you'd want to ride those first 4 days. As you pick an AK day I found unless there is EMHs that park is pretty empty by 3pm.

Didn't the other team (Colts) play with the game ball too? Wouldn't that equalize everything. How about the field officials, didn't they handle the ball at some time or the other? How would they not notice?
The field officials took some of the footballs off the field during the game. So they did notice. Now they have to investigate whether the footballs were naturally deflated or purposely deflated. How do they determine that? I really don't know. But I guess they have ways.

I believe that the Colts were not using those balls. I could be wrong, but what I read earlier said that each team submits 12 balls for weighing and game use, so each team may use different balls. Again, I could be mistaken, but I believe this may be the case

Regardless, I will be cheering for the Seahawks.

I know that the newer menu selections are more healthy, and I do enjoy some of them. But you know what I miss and used to really like (years ago)? It was something called a Hamwich--remember those?!

But mostly, I just miss the original design of The Land, in addition to the loss of the "live" CMs who used to ride the boats and explain things along route, and interact with the guests. :(

Yep I remember the Handwich!

and the Farmers Market kiosks before Seasons.

I enjoy Soarin' but I'm glad my kids were able to experience the Old Land. There was more for the entire family to do together.

I have a definite sweet tooth. I like it ALL !!! :hungry:

I love dessert but I rarely eat dessert. And I am like you, I tend to like it all, or most of it anyhow. Not too fond of Jellied fruit things though. Chocolate, I'm in. Mousse, cupcake, salted caramel coated in dark chocolate I'm in. I use to love those Oreo Bon Bons at Cafe May. :hungry: Via Napole has these lovely donut holes served with a creamer of melted chocolate and a creamer of fresh cream to dip them in. Oh my goodness.

RIP Oreo Bon Bons

Oh, more proof that Disney deals with stupid people on a regular basis.

For allergies, when they prepare the allergy-free dishes, they put a toothpick-like stick that says Allergy in the food. They used to just leave it in the food when served. We've come home with a collection of them; I have no idea why my dad likes saving them.

At BOG, when my food came out, they said that they have to take those away now. Apparently, someone hurt themselves with it.o_O

Id take a Flan, Cheese pie or chocolate cake better.
Not a fan of cupcakes too :p
Flan is okay, cheesecake is okay in small doses, and chocolate cake is...:hungover:

I actually got a semi-fancy dessert tonight. Key Lime tart from Boardwalk Bakery. Key Lime pie is one of the exceptions; I love that.

My parents shared a cupcake and my brother got a cookie. So the non-fancy dessert thing must also just be my family.

We did a Key to the Kingdom tour a couple years ago. It was fun going behind the scenes and in little bit of the tunnels. I would do a tour but I'm not even sure if I'm going to Disney this year. Job and all. Maybe next.

The tour I would love to do someday is the Safari tour.

My DS did the Wild African Trek. He really enjoyed himself and even the food was unique. He was mailed a CD of photos and a metal drinking bottle was given to them to keep. Wear gym shoes.

It is expensive. He had a 50% discount and it was still close to a $100

Well, today at the office was interesting.
2 of the partners are skiin' in Colorado, and one is sick, so there was only one in today. In our Mon. morning meeting, he asked if any of us had any crazy-fire deadlines. None of us did, so he announced he was takin' the whole office out to lunch and to see American Sniper. We watched from these awesomely comfy electric recliners as we munched our lunches.
Good food and a great flick. Intense, but, I really liked it.

How fun! My family has been to the theater in Illinois with those recliners. Not me. :(

Boy, that marker sure helps ya feel more secure though. They could use a different marker other than a toothpick though.
