So old that I remember the old kiosk area of Seasons. It was always dead in there.

I know that the newer menu selections are more healthy, and I do enjoy some of them. But you know what I miss and used to really like (years ago)? It was something called a Hamwich--remember those?!

But mostly, I just miss the original design of The Land, in addition to the loss of the "live" CMs who used to ride the boats and explain things along route, and interact with the guests. :(

I feel like the only person on the planet who doesn't like red velvet.
Not a big fan of Disney cupcakes either. :jawdrop: Not even the ones at Starring Rolls! (And especially not the ones at BOG.)

That just leaves more for the rest of you, I guess. ;)
Yes, more for me.

Fancy desserts are not my thing. I'm just as happy with a cupcake, and for me, the BOG ones are perfect. Not overly sweet or large.

For hot dogs and hamburgs, my dad used to chop up onions, put them in a bowl, and add a bit of vegetable oil and salt and pepper. Sooooo good.
Any leftovers, could be fried up the next day and added to whatever ... leftover potatoes, eggs, steak ....

Not a fan of using the fried onions in butter and spices to the hotdog itself?

I still love the boat ride. I just love all the plants being grown. Not really the scenes before or after, that could be better. But I wonder why, places do not mass produce hydroponics.
Probably because its still cheaper to use normal soil.

Pretty sure that hydroponics will be very useful in tight environments (and places where the land as very little growing capacity)

This is whole Patriot controversy is just plain stupid and if read in the comment section, people are just plain dumb.
Patriot controversy? did I miss something?

The Greenhouse part of the tour is amazing. There's also something about the bright sunlight that comes through the glass ceiling that is so uplifting. I agree about the hydroponics; it does seem like a no-brainer that the big growers in the country would switch over to that, but I'm sure there's more to it than what we see on the surface. Perhaps some of the reason, as @Cesar R M suggested, has to do with cost. Maybe, since most growers use the soil and are all set up for that, it may cost them more to convert over to hydroponics.

Have you ever taken the Behind the Seeds tour? I highly recommend it for anyone (except small children). I think it costs around $15 (although I had a AAA discount for a few dollars off), for a guided walking tour (about an hour) behind the scenes in The Land. It's very informative, and I've taken it maybe 4 times. They also let you try a sample of a vegetable that they grow there (usually cucumber slices), and it would have been picked that morning. Fresh veggies are delish!

Not ashamed to admit that I like fancy desserts.

As I've stated before, the two BOG cupcakes I have had were wet at the bottom - :depressed:. Yuk!
Also, for the amount that BOG charges, and the atmosphere they have created, I want something French and fancy and elegant. A soggy cupcake just seems so pedestrian.

Happy that you like them though. :)

They get mine from the back so that they can guarantee that it's allergen free, so I've never had that experience.

At Chefs de France where they actually have fancy desserts, I usually pass. Sometimes I get a creme brulee, but usually I just get something later. Very few desserts appeal to me. I'm usually fine with cookies or a brownie or something later.

It's not sort of cheating; it's cheating. I think if they find the allegations are true, the other team should go to the Super Bowl. I don't think the NFL will do that, but cheating is really low.
Didn't the other team (Colts) play with the game ball too? Wouldn't that equalize everything. How about the field officials, didn't they handle the ball at some time or the other? How would they not notice?

We did a Key to the Kingdom tour a couple years ago. It was fun going behind the scenes and in little bit of the tunnels. I would do a tour but I'm not even sure if I'm going to Disney this year. Job and all. Maybe next.

The tour I would love to do someday is the Safari tour.

Well, today at the office was interesting.
2 of the partners are skiin' in Colorado, and one is sick, so there was only one in today. In our Mon. morning meeting, he asked if any of us had any crazy-fire deadlines. None of us did, so he announced he was takin' the whole office out to lunch and to see American Sniper. We watched from these awesomely comfy electric recliners as we munched our lunches.
Good food and a great flick. Intense, but, I really liked it.
