Yep I remember the Handwich!

and the Farmers Market kiosks before Seasons.

I enjoy Soarin' but I'm glad my kids were able to experience the Old Land. There was more for the entire family to do together.

Memories! :) Yes, you're correct in the spelling, too--the Handwich!! (I was close, but I missed whole point in my spelling.) Anyway, I just loved the whole Farmer's Market atmosphere, and easy-going pace (except for high season, I'm sure).

Well, today at the office was interesting.
2 of the partners are skiin' in Colorado, and one is sick, so there was only one in today. In our Mon. morning meeting, he asked if any of us had any crazy-fire deadlines. None of us did, so he announced he was takin' the whole office out to lunch and to see American Sniper. We watched from these awesomely comfy electric recliners as we munched our lunches.
Good food and a great flick. Intense, but, I really liked it.

Since you didn't have the holiday off yesterday, I'm glad that you all received a very nice consolation prize!! I like how he threw in lunch as well for all of you. :) As for the movie, I saw on the news that it broke all kinds of box office attendance records over the weekend. Glad you had such a nice surprise yesterday!

The food kiosk set-up was all pre-Soarin' ?
I don't remember it, despite visiting in 1991, 1992, and 2003.
I know for sure we were in the Land Pavilion, because I remember the days of the CM guide on LwtL, and of course ... "Listen to the land, listen to the land".

Funny what you remember (and don't remember!) from those early visits.

You don't remember the food area? (I never forget food! :p :D )

I remember, on our very first visit, getting day-of ressies at l'Original Alfredo di Roma Ristorante (Epcot - Italy).
October, 1991. Walked up at 2:00. Reserved for dinner. I had Fettucini Alfredo. Can't remember what Hubby had.
And also, same trip, we ate at the Castle for dinner. Also got day-off ressies. We both had prime rib.

I guess I remember table service meals better than counter service. Does this make me a food snob? :joyfull:

No, not at all. Back in 1985, I seem to recall that my mother and I ate dinner at a nicer, sit-down location (that was the only time I ate in the castle--day of, ressie, too . . .). All other meals were just QS. Of course, we only were down there for 3 days, as that was the extent of our vacation budget (with airfare, hotel, etc.), but we had enough money for a couple of nice, sit-down table service meals.

Boy. Illinois School Law gives schools power to demand students private passwords to social media if they as they determine believe their is just cause that school policy was violated even if the social media post was while school is out.

Pandora's Box. 'Just Cause' to what end?

Athletes are now drinking bone broth. You'll need two pounds or more of bones. :jawdrop:

Any healthy bones will do.

Robot Uprising is coming and we must be ready for it apparently.

Elon Musk, billionaire donates 10 million dollars to the Future of Life Institute to keep the Robots from taking over the world.

Wonder if the Dude watched the movie The Santa Clause one time too many?

Maybe there is something to this robot thing after all

Robber gave clerk a thumbs up and walked out and went and robber a 7/11 instead. Clerk claims he doesn't know who was behind the bandanna.
