If I had money to waste I would do this.![]()
Yep, if money wasn't the consideration I'd be all in, but still I'd still I wonder about excluding all children of all ages.

Thanks for asking...!

Exactly!I dont think so.
Why? the kids who started to watch the movies and the books.. are now adult teenagers or in the young 20's.
Therefore.. the event seems to be tailored to those long time fans.
Glad to hear it went well.Had the ligament repair surgery done today. Sugery went well. In six weeks, I should be playing piano again. Doctor said I might pick up my violin again too.
For now though, my hand is killing me, and my stomach isn't happy about the anestesia.
View attachment 112939 Yep, got a song named after it. One of my favs!
Hopefully it'll take a turn and go towards the ocean.Gonna get some hurricane prep done tomorrow just in case Joaquin decides to keep on its projected track Monday. Woooohoo.
That he does! I had the opportunity to meet him a few times through the years and he is such a down to earth guy. Not what you'd expect from the projects he's done.I love Rob Zombie - he's got a great macabre sense of humor!
Do you have to type one-handed? Hope it heals fast!Had the ligament repair surgery done today. Sugery went well. In six weeks, I should be playing piano again. Doctor said I might pick up my violin again too.

Yep...huge fan here. I've read all the books probably about 10 times. I've watched the first couple of movies quite a few times, the later movies fewer times because it makes me mad when they deviate from the books. Last year I went to London and did the studio tour and walked through London to see all the filming locations, and then we (my friends and I) went to Lacock to see THOSE filming locations. And I used to be on the contest staff at The Leaky Cauldron fan site. I introduced my kids to the series this year, but so far they've only read the first book and seen the first 3 movies. We're reading the 2nd book now. But they won't get to read/watch 4-7 (8) for a few years because they aren't old enough. But yes, I'm a pretty major fan. I would have been waiting outside the bookstore at midnight for releases if they had those here. I did wait outside the bookstore, but it wasn't until 9:00 a.m. here. And I went to Hogsmeade in Universal a month after it opened in 2010. I really only know one person whose obsession rivals mine.wow, you gals are as big fans as my sister's dd.
I bought tons of HP memoralia for her bdays.
Me too!! I'd be there in a heartbeat if I had the money. If I had money to waste I would do this.![]()
I wear both, but not at the same timeI vehemently disagree! Two words--Star Wars! Look how the world is awaiting the new movie with growing fervor. Why? For MANY of us it was our childhood obsession and almost FORTY years later MANY of us haven't outgrown that childhood obsession. Hell, I refuse to! I hold a special place for it in my heart and if someone thinks that's unhealthy, well, I feel sorry for them. Some may argue an obsession with Mickey is unhealthy. As our children grew up with HP in the last decade and having those books/movies as their obsession, years from now MANY will still love HP as much as they did as children.
I don't understand your biased comment about those "wizard" people? You make it sound like it'll turn into some freakish event. (BIG eyeroll) What's the difference if it were an adult event for Disney fanatics? Absolutely nothing except one group would be wearing wizards robes and the other group would have their Mickey ears on.
