Had the ligament repair surgery done today. Sugery went well. In six weeks, I should be playing piano again. Doctor said I might pick up my violin again too.

For now though, my hand is killing me, and my stomach isn't happy about the anestesia.

Sympathy like! Hopefully pain and nausea subsides soon. Sounds like lots of rest and Netflix are in order!

its pretty far away and Im not a fan of of driving while I am with vertigo.

but funfact.. tried to call 2 times.. nothing, still busy.
My mother called.. instantly connected, made appointment for me..
and I'm like WHAT THE HELL??

I'm guessing your doctor's office somehow sensed it was your mother calling and knew better than to mess with a mother when she's trying to take care of her son!

National Weather Service has already issued flash flood warnings in my state over the next 48 hours. Rain is supposed to start tonight.

We got 3 inches of rain overnight. Now everything is sog city.

I wonder if they are good. I'm still a child at heart. My last book I read.. were of the RISE OF THE GUARDIANS creator (The Guardians of Childhood trilogy)

I think they are pretty good books. There have been a few slow parts but in general they are pretty action packed.

Howdy gang!
They had pop out of bed and sittin' in a chair about 9:30a.
Although he's feelin' it this mornin' , the recovery is goin' well, so far.

Yea for pop!!! I just knew he'd plow through this whole procedure. Maybe once he gets settled at home and is feeling better, you all could go out for tasty barbecue to celebrate his good health!!

I just wanted to share a great pic of one of our doggies taken by the doggie camp they go to when we're on vacation (and included in their newsletter). He's the red & white one (in front of the guy with the man bun ). I think our other dog is the one on the left - I guess she was camera shy! Plus the other dog is so cute, too!

Tomorrow, you may feel a lot better. Post-op is a drag, no matter what the procedure. A good night's sleep tonight should be beneficial.

I was thinking about you today, wondering about your hand. Didn't have a clue that today was your surgery. Do you think I'm psychic? (I could be psychotic as well . . . ) I had debated whether to ask you about your hand this morning, but I knew you were bored with people asking the same questions, so I held off. But, I truly was thinking about you this morning, and I'm glad that you had the surgery done. Hopefully, you'll be as fit as a fiddle (or violin . .. ) once your recovery period is over.

I should have suggested that someone drive you to the doctor's office, not for you to drive. I mean, I knew that, but why I didn't make that clear was stupidity on my part. I've had vertigo and I know I'd never drive if I was having symptoms.
