Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance

I don’t often self-plug, but coming in December is a huge edit I’ve made of Rise of the Resistance. I’ve taken an in depth look at the lands origins, the rides design, layout and construction, and then the whole experience from walk in to walk out, using a good two dozen ride throughs to select the best angles and to ensure no detail is missed, from the preshow to the transport, from the Star Destroyer to the ride. The audio mix is also one of my better-than-just-live custom mixes.

Given the state of the world this year I couldn’t have produced this without the help of some generous friends and websites, WDWMagic included.
I can’t wait Marni! Just out of curiosity, why december? Do you need to edit stuff or do you want to keep it as a Christmas present?

Yes
Maybe December as the ride will have been open a year? I rode on December the 6th, the day after official opening.

This is so Martin can catch the Life Day overlay coming to Rise of the Resistance. It features a hologram of Carrie Fisher singing the Life Day song from the Christmas special.

Most likely just the massive amount of work needed. Just basic editing can be around an hour of editing per minute of final product. Then add in the massive amount of research and watching videos to compile together. I wouldn't be surprised if he puts in 150 hours of work per video.

I’ve been working on it on and off since December last year, and making it a Christmas pressie slots it into my schedule nicely. Also hopefully it will be help bring a smile at the end of a horrible year.

After this do you begin work on the Imagineering Story Season 2?

This! I don't think many realize how much work goes into editing videos (after research, scripting, shooting, etc). Even for "simple youtube vloggers" there is a big time commitment on editing. I'm quicker than many and it still balanced out somewhere around an hour of editing work for every 2-4 minutes, depending on video. And mine is nowhere near as much work as Marnie's are.

The front view screen and nien numb are on the floor of the transport. An angled mirror makes them appear to be sat at the front.
Oh I am not questioning him on the shuttle at all but the part where he says the screen in the star destroyer hanger is a wall painted black instead of a screen.
Fun fact that I don't think anyone has mentioned. The hanger is not a screen. It's just a black painted wall with everything projected on it.

Yeah that is what i was challenging him on because we have seen pictures of the screen while off on this website during the construction before the ride opened. its more of a silver screen isn't it?
I don’t have the specifics but that would make sense being a modern projection system. 3 floor based, keystone corrected projectors provide the image.
