The lap bar is one long lap bar with two humps in the bar. Again, I haven't seen the bars being tested yet, but just by looking at the lap bar logs, it shouldn't be too much of a trouble.
Hopefully they replace all the foam padding. All the logs we wrode in this last trip stunk.
Disney SUCKS! Last year it was down for 2 months. What didn't they do in 60 days last year that will take them 30 days to do this year? My favorite ride, the one ride I want to take my daughter on, and they close it down. Those Disney Execs can bend and pucker. :fork:

Lower capacity per hour here we come! Hooray!
All the concern about lower THRC reminded me of the third station at Splash. What exactly is the reason why its hardly ever in use?
If Splash is really important to you, maybe you should plan your next trip around the refurb schedule. As mentioned in the thread, this is pretty common for January!
Yep thats exactly right. Stupid guests cause all of these changes.
Interesting. I don't know if I will like the bars or not. They typically hurt my legs really bad because my legs and knees are so long. Any idea on how much it will slow down loading time?
last time in splash mountain, a lady behind me rode with here two small kids...one of them was standing up while the final drop..my wife was terrified ..
Lap bars, I don't need a lap bar. But there is enough dumb people out there that Disney needs to put the lap bars in.
